If I want a superior sound I'll probably have to invest in a receiver and maybe a 5.1 or 7.1 set of speakers. The difference between the tv speakers and this soundbar was not decipherable. I don't recommend the soundbar.

Sound bar no louder than TV

So have to purchase it separately by spending extra. For half an hour the sound was perfect, but after that only thing I can here is loud garbled noise. Disconnected the optical cable and reconnected, but no luck. I have to spend more than an hour to trouble shoot problem of this new product, on it's very 1st day and it doesn't respond. Very disappointed. I'll return it immediately. Already packed it.
