Decent sound quality at offordable price.

We tried connecting the sound bar with just RCA in the beginning but we did not get any audio output with that, we had to connect the 3.5 mm connector to the RCA to make it work for our Samsung TV.

Insignia soundbar good unit for the money.

Doesn't have deep bass or crisp treble, but for augmenting TV sound, it does a decent job. Remote is useful and not too complicated. I wouldn't recommend this soundbar for high-end music listening, but it is good for binge-watching your favorite TV shows.

Surprised for the price

With all the audio input options along with Bluetooth, the Soundbar is a great deal. Don’t expect audiophile level sound but it is perfect for bedrooms and other less than large rooms to give you the bump in volume you needed without jacking up the TV’s volume so much and possibly waking your partner.

Sounds great! But...

Apparently the tv rca connections are output only , according to the instructions. Had to purchase a digital optical cable and it works great! Other Sound bars I’ve purchased included this, not this Insignia. Oh well, got a good price on the 2.0 Sound bar and it does sound very good

If you are looking for a basic upgrade to your TV's built-in sound, look no further. The dynamic range on this speaker is actually quite good, and you can dial it up pretty loud without any distortion. It's nowhere near high-end for movies and whatnot, but for general TV watching and gaming purposes, it is more than sufficient. This is a great value considering what it is.

Great small soundbar

I would not recommend it for a movie room or a larger room It has a nice sound and gives you a few options. The remote control could be improved. The light indicators on top of the sound bar should be moved to the front.
