This is a nice suondbar if you're not too much of an audiophile. I just wanted to boost the sound on my HDTV and this does the trick. You can connect your phone via Bluetooth and play music through the soundbar from your phone. It has a nice, rich sound and it adds just the right amount of bass. I wish the indicator lights were on the front of the bar so you can see them from across the room, but they are on top so you have to get up close if you want to see the indicator lights (to see if it's turned off, or to check which Input is selected). Once you get used to operating it, you don't rely on those lights as much so it's not a big deal. I am not super tech-savvy and I was able to get it connected and working in just a few minutes. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this SoundBar on “Cyber Monday”...got it for a Fantastic Price for that day. After reading most of the reviews, I started to get a better picture of what’s what with this SoundBar ( The Insignia 2.0, Model # NS-HSB318 ). I am so glad I not only did my research on this particular model but Bought it. The setup was easy and fully understandable... Long story short when I finished setting everything up..and made sure all the connections were tight and right..I turned it on and WOW...!!!! For the price it does the Job and does the Job well...I would highly recommend this SoundBar...admittedly I cannot get into all the Spec’s that some can get Into..I’ll leave that for their reviews. All I know is I now have some Serious sound coming from my Flatscreen which by the way has a nice sound all by itself.

I just purchased a new Samsung QLED 65"TV from Best Buy. I already had an Insignia sound bar model NS-HSB318, for 1.5 years. The TV was nice but needed a sound bar. These TV's have speakers in the back don't radiate sound that great hit the wall. I tried to hook up the Insignia using the Bluetooth, unfortunately there were Audio sync issues, mouths weren't syncing correctly on all shows. I tired everything to fix it, nothing worked. I went to best buy, spoke with a sales person, he said if I don't want to replace the sound bar for an expensive one to try the insignia Digital optical audio cable, no other companies, these are only for insignia others won't work. He was right we tried another bran, it didn't. I was prepared to buy a new Samsung sound bar, very expensive though. I only needed better sound, I was in a smaller condo living room,so i didn't need a subwoofer any big sound, just better louder frontal sound. Well it worked, took a little time to set up. Heres how to do it, plug one end into the sound bar, other end into a small covered square on the back of the TV. Go to settings on the TV. Go to sound, go to expert settings, click on area shows Digital output Audio, click PCM. The HDMI-E ARC should be on Auto. Lower your TV speaker volume to O. Also your sound not in expert setting has to be on optical, not Bluetooth. Use the sound bar remote, move it to the setting when sound will come from the sound bar, might have to hit the volume up on the sound bar remote. Volume will not work on your TV remote, cable company remote, or Samsung remote only sound bar remote. It corrected the audio sync problem, sounds great from the sound bar, cost me $21.

Got this for a 32" HDTV, and the difference is STUNNING! I'm very picky about speakers and sound -- the TV's built-ins were painful to listen to. Plugged this in and I'm very happy with it. Couple of things: the remote control uses a flat 'watch' style battery, and to raise and lower volume, you must press it repeatedly, rather than hold the buttons down. The unit comes out of the box set to maximum volume, so be sure to turn it down first thing! The bass and standard DSP settings are superb. It may not have all the bells and whatnots as the more expensive ones, but i'm super satisfied with the leap in sound quality it's brought to our living room. Bluetooth sounds great too, pairs up with phones and other devices easily.

Presidents Day open box sale. $53. Sounds great, easy to hook up, but I can't for the life of me figure out the stupid remote. I have this paired up with both my Roku & Comcast remotes. I didn't need the RCA cables either. I have this hooked up to my 8 year old Visio. Stop by, bring some popcorn and I'll put in a good action movie to watch. Thanks BB!

I just opened this a minute ago and connected it via blue tooth streaming Pandora. I have no complaints. The sound is good. You get what you pay for and this certainly exceeds my expectations seeing other choices for more money! Great Christmas gift, at least for me and my humble opinion. Thanks to my son, wife and my precious granddaughter!

Got this open boxed at $39.99. Great sound for the price. I'm using it in my bedroom and it GREATLY improved the sound versus the awful sound of my tv. This is a great buy if you're on a budget. The Bluetooth is easy to use. Setup is very simple; might just need to make a couple adjustments on your TV to digital, but if you're on a budget or just need to amp up a smaller room, I highly recommend this!! Also, I haven't had any issues with my remote like some others have mentioned.

I bought two of these at 55% off the regular price on sale Memorial Day weekend. One is hooked to a 51 inch Samsung Plasma, the other to a 32 inch Sylvania. They both sound fantastic, night and day above the internal TV speakers. The Bluetooth feature is great for listening to music via your phone or tablet. We'll see how they are in the long run, but initial impression is great.

Had issues connecting to my smart new tv using rca cables until I used the head jack adapter and finally got sound was ok not to impressed ; but then thought I’d spend the extra money for the insignia optic cable and WOW unbelievable sound It’s sounds better than my older Bose 3 2 1 and I plan on putting this same speaker and cable on my other 2 TVs , I am so glad with this purchase I’ll be telling everyone I know Thanks insignia!

The sound is really good. Like the other functions of being able to bluetooth to mobile devices, even a laptop.

I own two Vizio sound bars and I’m extremely pleased with them, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for a sound bar that would be utilized in a bedroom. I read the reviews on this particular Insignia model, and for $39.00, I thought what do I have to lose. I paired it with a 42” TCL 4K TV and it works great! The highs are crisp and clear, but lacks deep bass - that’s my only complaint. I contemplated giving this item 5 stars because I don’t think you’ll find a better sound bar for the money. Works perfect in my bedroom. I’d certainly buy again.

This sound bar is so amazing. It supports Bluetooth connections and also the connection to your TV. You can blast your favorite music through the sound bar and it will come out sounding very good! Amazing product!

I bought this unit to use with my desk top PC. Tried it with new Visio tv and it didn't sound much better than tv speakers, although louder. It works great for PC though. Much better than the old three piece Logitech speakers I had. HOWEVER, the remote does not work most of the time. Wouldn't recommend for use with any tv.

I've now owned this for a few months which has given me plenty of time to review it. First off I am using this (when it works) on a projector/xbox for games and movies for the kids. The sound is worth the price I paid for the unit but the killer to the whole thing is the remote and buttons that become constantly non functional. This only started doing it about a month ago. The only way to reset it is remove the power cable from the wall and make sure to deplete the power from the unit and plug it back in. When I need to turn the sound down and you cant because its "stuck" it makes it very hard to like the system. I've already talked a couple people out of purchasing this particular unit and am currently on my way to go look for a new brand. . Save your money and look elsewhere. Really bummed because it is nice when it works.

Sounds is good for the price. But the remote is absolutely terrible. I agree with another reviewer that believes the bar is going to sleep mode between uses and it takes a while to register the remote. Even hitting the buttons on the side takes a couple of seconds before it starts working. Will be returning it soon.

I got this on sale for 40 during black friday. a great price for a 100 bar. Anyway much better sound than the tv and makes my ps4 games rumble. Im loving it best buy has the best gifts.

Excellent product for the price. Bad remote can be easily fixed by cutting a “very small” hole thru the material covering remote “eye”, problem solved.

I’ve never had a soundbar without a subwoofer before, but needed to fit one on a narrow cabinet shelf. This was the right size/price, and, surprisingly, has the bass! No, it won’t shatter your windows, but it sounds great in this smaller room, especially when set to theater mode with the bass “on”. It’s perfect for a small space, and the quality sound has made me very pleased with this purchase.

Great little soundbar for the money. Has good sound for music. I used this to connect to my Alexa Echo and work flawlessly. Set-up was easy and puts out good sound for playing my Amazon music. I have not used this for TV or Movies, but works great for music.

Great soundbar for the price and it is a good entry one at that. Has great options for connectivity such as RCA, Optical, Bluetooth and more, great for small rooms too.
