Absolutely awesome for the price. Do not hesitate. Buy this sound bar.

All I did was turn the bar on, and I was sold on it.

For the price it is not bad. If you are into high end sound then you have to pay the price! The biggest draw back is that remote. Does not always work when it should.

1. Employee didn't give me the sound bar I asked for I wanted the older brand. I also specifically asked for open box. Did not get that either. So far the store I go to in Henderson does not have employees who are capable of good customer service. Write it down! Another their knowledge on products is so bad. A customer could know more researching a couple of pages and know more than the employees. So the product... Why have rca cables that cannot connect to the insignia tv? Insignia tv only has rca audio input. When most tvs do both. So selling this product with rca cables is pretty much scamming your customers and people who like insignia. There's no warning about it either. Not sure what's worse the sound bar with the wrong cables or a tv that doesn't have rca plug in for sound bar. Sounds like they took a huge step backwards. So far now I have to go buy optical cable. Hope that works. Never know insignia doesn't seem smart that might not work either. Will I was blind sided by the lack of warning and lack of good products by insignia. This is my first and last time buying their products. Back to vizio. Only bought insignia cause it was on sale and had a certain app on the tv. But now it's not worth it.

We got this for our mom so she could better enjoy some movies she had. We got the chance to watch some at Christmas after we set it up for her and it worked great. She was impressed and we could definitely here a difference,

We purchased this when it was on sale for 50.00 - and I can't imagine paying more than that for it. The sound quality is horrible. We had to unplug it and plug it back in just to use it. The remote was almost impossible to use. I can see why everyone complains about the remote, it's terrible. The sound from the sound bar sounds like it's inside of a box. The sound isn't crisp and full. It sounds contained in a box. Very muffled. We even changed the settings on the sound bar in hopes for better clarity and it was horrible. We couldn't wait to return it for something better.

Got it on Black Friday for some of our churches classroom TV's to help boost the volume up. So far they work great, just a simple sound bar with no bells and whistles. It has bluetooth, optical, but no hdmi pass through. There is no display screen to indicate the volume level or what mode you are in so keep it in eye level to avoid frustration.

As well as both our remotes not working, the side power button and vol are not much better(when they work) I regret throwing out the box the same day, or it also would be on the Open-box shelf..

massive improvement over our TV's awful stock sound.

It’s okay. The sound works for maybe a small room. However, it doesn’t get loud enough for me. I will say it will work better than my projector speakers but not worth the $40 that I got it for. Maybe it’s because I’m used to better speakers too like Bose.

Sounds good, but the remote is terrible. Overall a pretty good soundbar.

I thought it was me. I thought if I aimed the remote properly, the bar would respond. It does - about 10% of the time. Other reviews speak of the same problem. For the price the sound is fine. But even the manual controls on the unit do not respond. I do not recommend this item at all. I am about to return it. If they give me a hard time, I'll just leave it at the desk. It's almost useless.

I purchased this sound bar as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, but unfortunately will be returning it. Our living room TV speakers are MUCH louder than this sound bar. I really wish it were louder because the sound is very clear.

Doesn’t have amazing sound but works ok for the value

Great value! This soundbar definitely improves the sound of most new thin televisions.

Cons: remote must be pressed about a dozen times to activate the bar. Yeah, worthless junk. Once you get it turned on, you have to again press the volume button a dozen times to get it working. Total junk.... sound is good Bluetooth pairing is good. Remote is junk!

I gave it 2 stars for having decent sound. The unit itself goes to sleep and it takes 10-15 slow pushes of the remote to wake up. Someone suggested cutting a tiny hole in the fabric where the sensor is located to fix the problem. Don't do this! It did nothing and now a return is impossible. If you want to push the remote 15 times every time you want to change the volume then this soundbar is for you. I usually leave it on all the time as I can't shut it off. overall disappointment!

I honestly don't know how this product got such a good rating. Those people gave reviews too early! Onwards to mine and my wife's experience we bought this sound bar in hopes that we can hook it up with Bluetooth and go wireless and have good sound. THAT IS NOT THE CASE! In order to get the best out of your soundbar you have to hard AV wire it to the TV. When you have it on Bluetooth the volume is crazy low as if the actual TV's speakers are actually better. With that being the factor of thid bar me and the wife were HIGHLY disappointed seeing that we bought a total of two; one for each insignia television of which we have those too and they are also junk. We wish we could return them and get our money back but we can't because we had them for too long already. Either it's just me or we just got dealt a bad hand but Insignia's products are not of good quality and I advise you save yourself the disappointment and go grab another brand..

remote is slow to respond. seems like it goes into sleep mode or something and takes a min to wake up and seems to fall right into sleep again. coin battery is not easy to come by. overall disappointment! Sound quality 3/5
