This soundbar does what it is intended to do. It provides sound for a TV in a small space at a great price. It is not a high end soundbar for those with large spaces or those looking for top of the line type of sound systems. It easily paired with my existing Harmony Remote, so I do not have to use multiple remotes for it to work. Overall I am pleased with it and it serves its purpose.

Good Soundbar, I have it on my outside tv and it does a real good job . The Bluetooth is a nice option when we have friends over and music on. If you choose to connect via optical cord you’ll have to buy one separately it does not come with one.

Inexpensive, fills a bedroom with plenty of clear sound. Would purchase again.

Sounds great, easy setup. Don't forget to order a digital cable ,not included.

Really impressed with this sound system! I was unsure it would be loud enough or sound like an actual sound “system” but my concerns were quickly put to rest. Sounds absolutely great. I’m not sure why others complained about the remote- I love that it has a display on it, very helpful. Bass is awesome and it truly sounds like an expensive system. Impressed!

house at shore survived sandy and I thought the raised big screen did but I discovered finally when the house was rebuilt around it that the sound didn't work. I really hated to throw out a 55" TV with great color. I finally decided that the speaker probably was ruined by greenhouse effect. I found this speaker on clearance and crossed fingers and plugged into set. Works like a champ and saved me from tossing the big screen.

For the price, this thing can't be beat. We've had no issues and it sounds great in our basement.

This sound bar really creates some great sounds. For not having a woofer, the bass sound is pretty good. It projects very well and is a definitive improvement over the speakers on my TV. Had to but the optical cable as my TV didn’t have the red white audio out but that plugged in very easy and worked great. Has a Bluetooth connection also but haven’t tried that one yet.

I am by no means an expert when it comes to sound, but for the price, I think the soundbar is good! It has nice sound for TV or listening to music. I have it mounted directly under my TV (to the frame of the TV). I would recommend if you are looking for a reasonably priced sound bar.

For value it won’t compare. Super sound and beats what comes out of the Sony it is hooked up to

Wow, we never realized how "tinny" the sound quality was on our TV until we hooked up this Insignia Soundbar. Everything is so much more rich and defined. We are very pleased that we got it and we're enjoying watching shows so much more with the clarity now. Easy to install (we used a separate optical cable that we purchased due to all the other Audio ports being used already).

Easy to set up. Sound quality is excellent. Given as a gift to my parents who love it.

Picked this up with a Samsung 40" over Thanksgiving Weekend. The sound bar was on sale for $40, marked down from $100. For the money, the quality is good. The sound quality is on par, and I can't complain for a $40 sound bar. When you raise the volume up all the way you get some distortion and crackling as expected, but you're not supposed to use speakers all the way up anyway... So all in all, I am happy with this purchase and feel that it adds that little extra push that you don't get from the stock tv speakers. On the other end, if you are looking to blow out your ear drums with ridiculous bass and insanely loud music (nightclub status), this sound bar will not do that. I would recommend this product for anyone looking to get that little extra sound at a reasonable price.

Very happy with the quality of sound. Not an Insignia issue, but wish I could sync the Roku remote with the soundbar. Using the fiber optic audio cable apparently doesn't allow this and requires an HDMI input, which the soundbar does not have. Just means two remotes: Roku and soundbar. Not that big of a deal.

I got this to supplement a new TV that I had purchased thinking that I would maybe only need it when I would have a noisy household, but once I heard the difference in quality of sound I just muted my TV and just use the soundbar for everyday viewing. A truly great investment.
