If a mower is running or load music coming from my neighbor, I couldn't hear the TV. I wanted something cheap for outside and to my surprise. I works really well for under $50.00. Now if this was for my larger screen TV inside the house I would walk right by this but for outside use it's worth it.

I wish it was a little louder and more robust but for the price it’s just fine. I have it in in the bedroom but I don’t think it would be sufficient for a larger living room. Also you should buy a digital optical cable if your TV supports it. There is not one included

Fairly simple setup, but his TV doesn't have Bluetooth or even Audio Out jacks, so I had to hook it up to the cable box, where he can control the volume through the cable remote. The best feature (to me) about this soundbar is the built-in sound option (speech, movie, or normal). For the hard of hearing, the "speech" mode really makes the dialogue stand out, while minimizing the background sounds. It's on the soundbar remote.

The RCA cable connection didn't work, but that may have been my TV? I picked up an optical audio cable and it worked like a charm. The only downside is now I don't see my son much, as he is thoroughly enjoying watching TV with a new and improved audio source!
