I was eying up the previous model of this soundbar for a few months, after getting an amazing deal on my 40" TCL Open Box Fire TV from BB (see pic, I store the TV in my laundry room and wheel into my formal living room when needed) . The sound from that TV is a bit tinny, not surprising given the size. Well I am glad I waited, and even got an open box deal on this soundbar! The best part is you are able to control everything with one remote thanks to ARC compatibility. You even get an HDMI cable with the unit - I ordered a 2' right after hooking up to get a bit less clutter. As soon as the TV is turned on, the soundbar kicks right on and announces "HDMI" to let you know you are connected. Will this give a movie theater surround sound experience? No, but it's got some decent bass punch and for the price and size with my application, it worked out really well.

Using this with a Westinghouse TV that has awful built in speakers. This works great in a small space. It's about the same length as a 24" TV and compact enough to fit beneath it with no issues. The sound is very good for the size. Their is no subwoofer, so you don't have low bass, but enough to know it's there. The mids and highs are fine. For the price and small footprint it does well. I use it with an HDMI connection and have no issues. Bluetooth and optical worked fine too. If you need something small for better than TV speakers, this is a good buy.

For the price, it punches above expectations. Output is limited by size, but it is far better than my TV speakers. Simple to use and set up. More than adequate to listen to Spotify music at reasonable volume. Especially useful in smaller spaces and rooms. Definitely happy I purchased.

For a small 24" sounds bar this works perfect for my living room tv. It was easy to install I'm 70 yrs old and really had no problems. The sound is much better than what comes out of the back of the TV's that they make now.

Great compact soundbar for the price! Needed a small soundbar for my new 32-inch TV, with fairly bad sound quality. This does the trick. Gives OK sound quality, not awesome, but decent. Has great hook-up options and features. The HDMI/eARC option is working well for me.

Bought this to replace the soundbar for my computer as the old one was worn out and started sounding fuzzy/distorted. Don’t let the smaller size fool you. Sound quality is really great for both video/movies/tv and listening to music. R Edythe h sounds super clear. I like the separate controls on the remote for bass and treble. It has multiple ways to connect to listen. Bluetooth connects super easy.

Great little soundbar for the price. Easy to set up, connects quickly via Bluetooth, and sounds much better than TV speakers. Clear dialogue and decent bass for its size. Perfect for small rooms or a budget-friendly upgrade.

Soundbar sounds great! We had to get one as we busted the TV speaker. Great replacement and small enough for our space! Easy to connect with bluetooth and turns on automatically when we turn the TV on.

I absolutely love this Insignia 20" Mini Soundbar! I bought it for my toddler’s room with a 40-inch TV, and it works perfectly. The sound is very clear and much better than the TV speakers. It gets plenty loud without distortion, and voices come through crisp, which is great for kids’ shows and movies. Setup was quick and easy, and Bluetooth works smoothly too. It’s the perfect size for a small room and a great value for the price. Highly recommend it for bedrooms or kids’ rooms!

This insignia sound bar was really easy to set up, came with a hdmi cord, easily connects through different settings. The sound is clear and the volume is AMAZING for the price! 10/10

Honestly a lot of people give the in-house brands a bad rap, but this is perfect for small to medium sized rooms and for people who like a simple set up to help boost dialogue or play music for efficiently.

Sounds clear and gets prettyy loud, just like having a concert in your own room! It’s really nice that i can adjust the bass and treble with the controller. I was worried i would need an optical output cord to hook it up to my playstaion but i just needed a hdmi which was also included. Always super fast shipping and arrived ahead of schedlue. Definitely worth the money, would recommend %100!

I want to thank all of the consumers before me that left a review of this sound bar. It really helped me choose this product. I was in disbelief and had to see for myself what this sound bar was capable of. I’ve had other Insignia products, especially Bluetooth speakers/ headphones and all were pretty decent. Well, this sound bar did not disappoint Its’ output surpasses its’ size. I needed an upgrade for my new tv because the sound from it was lacking. It sounded like we were listening through a red solo cup. This sound bar is very impressive for the quality of sound it produces. This is perfect for a bedroom. Good quality balanced sound that’s not overpowering for a bedroom. The price was just as impressive for under $25 on sale. Even if you pay full price of $39.99 it still is a great price for the quality of speaker you are getting. I’ve tested other sound bars in various stores and the quality of sound for an inexpensive bar doesn’t even compare to this one!!! I am very impressed and pleased with this sound bar. If you are debating on whether or not you should get this sound bar, BUY IT!!! You’ll be happy you did.

I didn't expect much of this soundbar, but for the price it simply cannot be beat. I needed something small I could run an aux cable from my monitor to a mounted, small soundbar for compact PC gaming audio and this works flawlessly. Just make sure you have the source audio signal into the soundbar at a high enough volume or the soundbar will "drop" the audio signal.

I got this 20" soundbar to increase the volume on my new 50" Fire TV, but it didn't, so I installed it on my almost new 32" Fire TV. In a smaller room, where the 32" lives, this soundbar is a distinct enhancement and provides much greater frequency range as well as increased volume compared to the TV's own speakers. Five stars would have been appropriate, based on realistic expectations for this very small and inexpensive unit, but I dropped it to four because the wall-mounting bolts/sockets are very small and not really up to the job. If you mount it, consider getting a frame that cradles it from the bottom.
