I bought it as a gift so they didn't have the time to test the physical plug-in to the computer and since no phones have the 1/8" headphone jack we could not test it in the return window. It only works over Bluetooth the analog audio cuts off every half-a-second so completely useless as computer speakers. There are cheaper battery-powered speakers that work better than this. Of course there is no way to have sampled this in the store as well. Waste of $50

It's especially disappointing that the analog audio connection is unusable, rendering the speakers ineffective for computer use. We understand the difficulty in testing all functionalities within the return window, especially given the lack of 1/8" headphone jacks on most phones. We also acknowledge that in-store testing wasn't possible. It's unacceptable that a product would be unusable right out of the box. Got them home and finished setup, but the distortion and crackling sound was absolutely awful. Did multiple checks of ports, parts, and everything else under the sun, to no avail whatsoever. It's a shame, in between the crackling and popping, the sound was good.

It was an open box purchase so I guess you get what you pay for.

Only used once and now the LED lights don't work. Thought these were great for the price initially. Insignia support does not respond to emails. Best buy return policy is crap. I didn't even use this item before the 30 day window passed so now I'm stuck with a regular pair of speakers with no lights that was not worth this price.
