I bought it as a gift so they didn't have the time to test the physical plug-in to the computer and since no phones have the 1/8" headphone jack we could not test it in the return window. It only works over Bluetooth the analog audio cuts off every half-a-second so completely useless as computer speakers. There are cheaper battery-powered speakers that work better than this. Of course there is no way to have sampled this in the store as well. Waste of $50

It's especially disappointing that the analog audio connection is unusable, rendering the speakers ineffective for computer use. Only used once and now the LED lights don't work. Thought these were great for the price initially. Insignia support does not respond to emails. Best buy return policy is crap. I didn't even use this item before the 30 day window passed so now I'm stuck with a regular pair of speakers with no lights that was not worth this price.
