I have always purchased items from Best Buy. However, these speakers have a non-stop beep that goes off.

Very poor quality. Did not work for my office. Static sounding

For quite awhile, I looked at this every time it went on sale, but was unconvinced it could amount to much. When I finally bought it and tried it out, I was pleasantly surprised. The wiring is a bit inconvenient, with the control puck and the power cord permanently attached to the subwoofer, and the tiny speakers connecting there via a 3.5mm stereo jack (I added a 25' extension cable without excessive ill effects). The control puck has the power switch, loudness control, bass level (I can't help but wonder if some of the complaints about bass were posted before the writer found this control), source selector, and 3.5mm jacks for headphones and aux-in. I've been using this with a Chromecast Audio, mostly, and that has worked well, except that the puck defaults to bluetooth (which I have never used), not aux-in, at power-on. But since your hand is already on the puck to power it up, finding another puck button is not a big hassle, and the puck light ring switches from blinking (unpaired) blue to solid red when you select aux-in, so it's hard to forget. Ultimately, I had thought I'd be setting this up in this basement when I'm through with it upstairs, but it will probably stay up here in a supporting role.

The speakers sound great. I really like how easy it is to set up, the size/space it uses is great. i love them. My Christmas gift to myself, love it.

I recently just purchased an all in one Bluetooth Lenovo PC and I was concerned with purchasing a good set of computer Bluetooth speakers. I took a chance on this Insignia model and it didn't disappoint. The Bluetooth connection to the PC was a breeze and it has an incredible sound when using an equalizer. Great mid-to highs and a very decent bass response. Very highly recommended!

Great system for the price... Sounds good with bass and no distortion easy setup... I read other reviews and they dont know how to use this product... And i bought it on the 13th it showed up 3 days later when they said it would take till 22nd... Thanks bestbuy u hooked me up... Id have no problem reviewing any other products for yall... This was a buy id recommend for anyone on a budget!

I bought this for my home office. The one thing I don't have a problem with is the sound itself. Speakers sound just fine. My issue is with a couple of other finer details that, had I known, would've caused me to skip this purchase. - The spinning wheel controller doesn't detach from the subwoofer. The cable is hard wired. So if you want to put the sub somewhere (say below your desk) and feed the controller through a port-hole, that won't work. No one has 4" holes in their desk, which is what it would take for the controller. - The speakers don't have enough wire. I have 2x27" monitors, and the speakers barely have enough wire to make it to the sides of the monitors. - It is very finicky with OS X in terms of connecting via Bluetooth - The volume controller is overly sensitive at the lower end of the range. It's a spinning controller. 7 o'clock is off, 8 o'clock is off, but somewhere between 8:30 and 9 puts you at 20% volume. The lower end range of the remote doesn't work entirely as expected.

I bought these speakers for my computer and they sound great for the price. I do have a couple gripes. First there is no cable included to hardwire. Second, the speakers go to bluetooth mode every time you turn it on with these loud annoying beeps. I just keep the speakers on and turn down the volume. Having the Bluetooth option is nice if I feel like streaming from my phone or tablet

The sound is great! However there is a humming sound from one of speakers when my tv is turned off. I have to turn the unit off to get rid of this hum/buzz which drives me nuts. Also the unit does not come with a 3.5 audio cable, which you do not find out until you get the unit home. Had to make an additional trip! Not happy at all about that, Mike at BB fixed that problem quickly, and politely.

I chose the bigger of the 2 with only a $10 price difference, the quality and sound were amazing.

If you snag these on sale, unbeatable for the price

Poor Quality. Left speaker stopped working altogether. Right speaker was barely audible. Purchased it for $30 (refurbished).
