    Just what I needed to copy an internal hard drive. I was copying an Nvidia Shield drive so that I could install an SSD. This worked great. I put in the original combo disk, was able to dd the contents and then I swapped in the SSD and was able to dd the contents back. Installed the SSD and it worked perfectly.

    The product is simple to use and very straightforward in its application. You simply find a 2.5" HDD or SSD and slide it into the mount in the case, and plug it into your USB port.

    Easy to use, but it works much better on a regular USB connection. It kept stopping when I used the 3.0 cord that came with it. Otherwise a great product.
