I'm not sure about the brand because I don't own a lot of insignia brand. But this little mini refrigerator is ok. It doesn't get very cold. And the paint is already rusting and chipping away. And the freezer part is so ridiculous, it builds up ice so you gotta thaw it out sometimes.

This is the second one of this exact fridge I have purchased. Love them!! They are perfect when you need a fridge in a smaller space and they work great !! Not a problem with either one!! The first one I purchased around 6 years ago. Feel confident in this purchase for sure!!

I bought this on sale, after looking around. Best buy had the best price. the next week it went on sale for 5.00 more off, what I payed. I got back online and talked to chat person, she refunded me the 5.00. she was very nice and helpful. it was delivered on time with no dents.

Perfect refrigerator to fit under my desk in the office. Keeps great temperature in the fridge and freezer. I like the fact that the freezer has a wide opening to fit items in. Most compacts have a small freezer so give this Insignia brand a chance! Great value for the cost.

I use this upstairs in my bedroom to store drinks. Unlike other mini fridges I've had in the past, this actually keeps the drinks icy cold and it can hold a surprising amount and sizes of beverages. The top shelf is perfect for 12oz cans and juice boxes, and the bottom shelf actually fits the monster energy drinks standing up. I haven't used the freezer so can't comment on that. The can holder built into the door is a little awkward to get drinks out of, and when I open the fridge, my drinks fall out of the built in door storage so I just don't use that. Other than that, everything is great. It doesn't make my room hot, and it's not very loud so doesn't disturb us even in our bedroom.

I forgot to review this after I bought it, and finally am reviewing it now. This fridge still works great! I use it mainly for sodas/waters/beer in my basement, and have never had a problem with it. I will say I never used the ice cube tray/freezer section..

Bought this for our sons dorm room. So quiet was a must! It's quiet enough. You won't find one that's completely silent. The freezer section is useless though, my college student did say that if he had to do again he'd get one with a separate freezer compartment.

Sometimes you can just expect too much.... well, for $99 this did exactly what we needed it to do, give us a small refrigerator in a room we seldom would use it but keep things cool on a separate level from our other two refrigerators. Small footprint and lightweight, hard to ask for more.

Purchased this to use in my office. Ample space in the refrigerator area, smaller space in the freezer area. Has worked flawlessly so far and keeps everything very cool.

This is a great little refrigerator, but we ordered 3 online and all had some sort of dent or ding which was not obvious from the outside of the box. We would have taken them back and exchanged them but they were not in stock in the store and I thought we would probably just get 3 more with dents.

I have this in a bedroom and it's pretty quiet. I added a thermostat which shows that the temperature is pretty stable. The door hinges can be switched from left to right. It's a good size for just drinks and small food items. I would certainly recommend this.

If you need a cool drink this is your fridge! If you would like a cold drink, well not your fridge. The freezer gets cold but does not freeze. It is a great size and looks great except when I took off the plastic wrap it was scratched and dented under the plastic wrapper. I was so mad at first but it is just for use out in the back yard cabana.

I ordered this to be delivered to my house. It came with a big dent on the top corner in the back. That was upsetting because it was too much hassle to even lift it to the car and return it. So I kept it despite the cosmetic defect. I bought this as a back up fridge for my room to put drinks and snacks in. I've had it more than a year and it works good in the fridge section. It keeps everything cold. The freezer, not so much. You can't really put anything like ice cream or frozen food in their because it won't freeze. I tried and the ice cream was soft. I even tried putting water in the freezer. It freezes the water when it wants. Sometimes it will freeze the water, sometimes not. Get another brand if you want a good working fridge.

had over a month, does not get too hot like other reviews mentioned. The thermostat came set at 4, had to turn up to 5 for super cold. Can fit around 2 cases of cans in it.

So far this is a really good unit. I wanted something upstairs in my office as I found myself walking downstairs many times during the evening just to get something cool to drink. It is surprisingly roomy and it does not take up too much room. So far so good.

I returned the fridge because it came shipped with a lot of bumps and dents, but the build quality and size was definitely good. The anterior seemed roomy and although I did not get to use it, the fridge looks like a good, affordable purchase
