    bad choice..used in my private office for holding a few sodas, coffee creamer and lunch...not much stuff...died in less than 2 years

    This stopped working in two years. I followed all the "troubleshooter" instructions in the User Guide but nothing works. Seems like it should last longer!

    Sadly Insignia Mini-Fridge Arrived Damaged

    The Insignia mini fridge unfortunately arrived damaged. It was impossible to get back in the original packaging since it arrives with binding straps you have to cut and a lift off top. We were not allowed to return it to the local store since we bought it online. So we had to keep it. I will not order anything online again that is impossible to return in the original packaging.

    When we opened the box at home, we discovered a huge dent on the front door. Unfortunately, because of Covid, it was too much of a hassle to return it to the store.

    Bought this on Apr 9, 2022. It is now Oct 3, 2022 and the thing is dead. Never again with Insignia brand stuff!

    Worked fine for a few months. After three months the compressor started making loud noises and vibrations when running. Also, the back feet are sharp metal and gouged the hard wood floor it was sitting on.

    A glass shelve was shattered when we opened it. Best Buy had no option to replace the shelf and we were outside the 2-week window to return. It was ordered for a college dorm room so we did not open it until needed. Disappointing start to freshman year!

    This free g stopped working 4 months later. BestBuy says it is not returnable. I’ll never buy this brand again.

    Not cold enough for perishable food.

    It's ok to chill wine or soda but anything perishable will be unsafe for consumption. I have it set as cold as it can go and it will not go below 50 degrees.

    I attempted to purchase this Insignia Mini Fridge for my son for Christmas. It was delivered fairly quickly so that was not an issue. However, when my son opened it, the corner of the fridge was smooshed in. I took it back to best buy and they were great about taking it back and giving me a new one. They even helped get it into my vehicle. However, again, we opened it and the hinge for the door was bent so the door would not close all the way. I had to bring it back again. I got my money back but was bummed realizing this product is cheaply made.

    Surprised at performance with such low price

    Needed more space in our Best Buy kitchen refrigerator for our new diets + ideal temperature for beer/Ales. This was a GREAT SOLUTION: After -$20 + sale price, got this jewel home ... test results: 1. never get a customer angry by making him peel off super thin saranwrap on 3 sides + 1/2 the door ... it does NOT protect from scratches, DUH! 2. digital thermometer inside says you DON'T have to wait 24hrs on thermostat #4 to get things stabilized prior to loading it up food/drink ... it got down to 32d F PRONTO 3. setting 5.25 seems to give ideal & stable Ale temperatures of 43-44d F, no variation beyond 0.4d F rest of day, even if door opens to fetch an item 4. long necks and most 12oz glass bottles do NOT reside in door "cup holders" ... for cans only 5. LOVE NOT having a freezer hog inside Debunking other reviews, even thought their units may need to be replaced with one like mine: NOT noisy, whisper quiet HUGE size As for dents/scratches Pick up from store, as outside delivery (esp. FedEx) throws these things around, even breaks through excellent padding/protection ... same with window ACs If the black version, use a black Sharpie on imperfections or decals

    Ran for 1 day, already has a burning smell

    Ran this mini fridge for 1 day and came home from work and smelled a burning smell coming from it and the unit wasn’t cold anymore. Immediately unplugged it to prevent it from burning my house down. It also had dents in it upon opening the box.

    The fridge itself probably would’ve been fine but it got delivered with dings and a broken hinge. Ended up returning it to the store. Not BB fault but I would recommend buying in store vs online to avoid the damages.

    I bought this refrigerator along with a larger one. I wanted to keep leftovers and sodas in this one. Neither refrigerator goes below 50 degrees. I bought thermometers to make sure. I knew something was wrong when my sodas weren’t cold enough. I was in the hospital for 52 hrs. When I got back home, my unopened yogurt, milk, & onion dip all had went bad. Even the spring mix lettuce was wilted. I’d had it all delivered on the day I went into the hospital. I would only recommend this refrigerator for food that will be eaten the same day or isn’t perishable.
