Works as intended but has one flaw
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The cable works fine but has a flaw with it's design. The right angle connector is inverted and has to bend over backwards to get to your motherboard.

wider plug jack
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered 6.99 one, but it was not able to pick up on time. So I went to the store and purchased one from the stock which was this 9.99 one. And it looked better quality for 3 more dollars, But I found this was not casual designed. This looks heavier duty than the cheaper one, but the both plastic jacks are wider than the other ones. When plugging this in, it was not able to plug the power cable to my hdd. so I put power first, and now I can put this sata cable somehow but it does not sit flushed. I have 2 different internal hard drives, but both are not working with this cable correctly. I could connect, but not flushing all the way. It looks broken when plugged in. HDD is working but does not look right. Check your hard drive connections size between power and sata before buying this cable.

Works fine.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It only got 4 stars, not because of the cable, but what it took to get it, my only concern about the cable is that according to the packaging, it's data transfer rate is slower than the drive. The real problem is that when I went to buy my Hard Drive, from reading the reviews I was pretty sure the 'kit' did not contain the sata cable, so I intended to buy one, however when I asked the. clerks, they showed me an empty rack there by the drives for a data transfer cable @ $39, so I went home sans cable. A little research on your website and found what I needed, In stock, @ $9. Went back the next day to pick it up, {printout in hand}, and still had trouble finding it, as did the first two clerks, we were all looking at the rack up front with the hard drives, and various cables. However the 3rd clerk pointed out a rack at the back of the store where the mice were hanging & there they were. The location didn't seem logical to me, but the real issue to me was that of the 6 or so clerks I dealt with, on both days, {some who were Geek squad guys}, they didn't seem to know their department very well, which caused me to make the trip twice.

Good Cable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works just fine, and the blue matches the color scheme. Price is a bit high but most cables in a retail store are.

2" cable was hard to find
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great SATA cable. I needed a 2' cord to attach to an additional internal hard drive. 12" & 18" cables were to short. This blue thin cable fits snug & is very flexible. I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't have locking tabs.

I Was Going To Buy Them
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. But then I saw they are ATA 2.0 and not the faster ATA 3.0 ATA 2.0 allows speeds up to 3 Gbits/s ATA 3.0 allows speeds up to 6 Gbits/s My hard drives are ATA 3 and there is no way I will slow them down using this cable. And it's overpriced! Get with it Best Buy. Start stocking cables for the technology that has been around for the past 10+ years.

good cable

Works, but stupidly designed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very happy to see Best Buy had a SATA data cable I could easily buy in-store. However, this one's not great. It seems to transfer data to and from my hard drive well, though I've only been using it a day so we'll have to see if it has any lifespan issues. The biggest problem is that the right-angle plug is too wide for no reason. Other reviewers have given it 4 and 5 stars while saying they had to shave down the plug to make it fit where they wanted it. No, a 5-star product shouldn't require that... I eventually found a configuration inside my system, switching it with the cables already there, where the cable fit without needing to be intentionally damaged to do so, but that configuration was not my first choice and added time to the project. Would only buy again as a last resort, if I need a SATA data cable NOW and the real computer store is closed.

Posted .Hi! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about this cable. We know how important is to have a cable that does not take space that you might need to plug other devices and this is why your feedback is very important to us. We will gladly check the design of this cable to improve it in the future.

Won't fit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Attempted to install on a DVD drive but it wouldn't fit. The poor design of the connector has too much extra plastic that gets in the way of the adjacent power connector. Needed to file off some of the plastic to get it to fit. I wouldn't buy this again.

Posted .Hi Ricktig,
Thank you for taking the time to review our Serial ATA 2.0 Cable. First of all, this cable is not meant to work the way you are trying to connect it, it will only work for hard drive connection and data transfer purposes. Based on the type of connection you are trying to do, you must use a different cable that is why this one is not fitting properly.
If the cable is not damaged or modified in any way, you are still within the one year warranty and you have your purchase receipt available, please give us a call at 877-467-4289 and we will check for further options in this matter for you.
