Like the summary said, does its job. Kind of. The right angle end is too bulky to fit into a drive next to power so you have to shave the side off to be used correctly. Also no locking tabs.

For a SATA II cable that can only reach 3GBPS, this cable is a bit overpriced. That doesn't mean it doesn't do the trick. The length is also quite nice at 2 feet, giving you plenty of play. Good quick fix, bad price.

The Right Angle Makes Everything Surprisingly Easy

I ended up having to purchase a new SSD after my old one fried, and I almost forgot that I needed a SATA cable. However, I managed to snag this one, and while it seems like a tiny thing, the right-angle on the cable makes installation a million times easier, particularly in tight spaces.

This a cable and it has been doing its job for over a year no problem. The one before it failed after 2 years so we will see if this one lasts that long. So far so good, still connecting my solid state to the motherboard just fine.

This cable is a must when installing an extra internal drive. They are easy to use and very durable. I've never had any problems with these cables. Insignia makes good quality products.

Not much to say about cables that work the way they are supposed with no problems at all. I used them with a 7200 RPM 2TB drive with no problem. A solid state drive may have a higher data rate and that might cause a problem that my spinning disk did not.

I bought this item on recommendation by Best Buy Geek Squad for adding additional hard drives to one of my pc's. They were used in conjunction with an upgrade to the power supply. So far they have proved a useful item since all three of the 1 TB sata drives are accessible.

This product seems good, but I wasn't sure what I was doing and snapped one of the ends pretty much instantly. Thankfully the SATA cable wasn't the problem with my PC anyway, but that's another story.

Buying a hard drive now requires a cable too, no longer in the box, so I bought one. Nice blue color which is nothing like the all black interior of my rig. Also only sata3 instead of the 6 that's now recommended but Best Buy don't sell the better one. Oh well.

Was rebuilding a PC for my brother to ship back home to him. Didn't want to wait for mailing items and driving all over so picked up several of these , they do the job and are reliable however they are fairly long compared to other sata cables I've used. have wire tires handy!

This and other purchases made my computer useful again, round tip on L shaped connector didn't fit next to power cord on HDD. Solution was to connect L shape tip to motherboard and flat tip to HDD. Easy fix, great product.

There's not much to set one brand of SATA cables apart from another, so for most people, it's fine to choose on the basis of price alone. These were among the cheapest right-angle cables I could find locally.

It’s a cable. You expect them all the work. I mean, it’s not that complicated right? Unfortunately not all of them do work and that’s where things get frustrating. This insignia cable is quality made and is working like a charm.

So if you know what this cable is for you do not need me to review it, yes it is blue and has black ends and yes it does what it says it does and yes I would think it was made in China and yes I am doing this review to get the points...

Yes, it's a serial ATA cable. Not much else I can really say about it it's a nice color of blue and orange without issue. I pick it up at Best Buy on a Saturday and installed it tight evening I considered going back and getting into the car but decided to keep the blue.

Sata ATA Cable Needed for SSD Drive Install

Needed an additional SATA cable for the SSD drive I was installing in my computer. It fit a little tight and had to install the power cable before I could install this cable. Did not have this problem with other SATA cables.
