I bought an additional hard drive for my computer, but it did not have a data cable, so I went to Best Buy, and I bought this cable. It went in and worked as it ought to do. Just that simple.

I was finishing my PC build and didn't realize I needed another SATA cable until I was in the middle of installing my hard drive. I'm glad my local Best Buy had a selection of PC building parts. I didn't really need a cord this long but it did the job.

It's good that best buy stocks items like this when you are in a pinch. I really wish there was a shop that had more cabling and electronic switches/accessories. RIP RadioShack

Needed a cable to install a new SSD drive. Worked as intended. Best part was it was during the lock down and Best Buy had a curbside pickup. Thank you Best Buy for providing that service.

... it works, connects your SATA devices, no issues. A bit pricey for the cable, probably better to order online, but this is available in the store, and you pay a premium for that availability.

This cable certainly beat the cable that came with my motherboard off ebay. I had to purchase this cable because my mobo only came with 1 cable and I have an ssd and hard drive. This cable performed well in speed tests.

It did the job; however I can't give it 5 stars due to the fact that it is vonfigured opposit from the typical sata cable so you have to double it over for it to fit. I would recommend it in a pinch.

my kids computer 3 yrs old now and running out of room had additional drive put in so far it's running perfect had it done in Silverdale best buy had good service every time I have gone in for our families computers needs

It was a replacement for my old cable that failed to function. I was more than happy with this purchase. It is now working well with my new SSD hard drive which had SATA connector.

This item was purchased so I could install a secondary solid state drive in my sons computer and it worked perfectly well. No issue with connectivity at all.

it's a shame that replacement hard drives no longer come with these cables,but if you must buy one then this is the one to buy.top notch performance.much better than the one that came with my desktop.great cable!

Used it to install a second hard drive in my desktop. One issue though : The right angle connector is bulged and rounded and it may cause clearance issues with the Hard Drive power connector.

If you just bought a new SSD, don't forget to order this cable as these cables do not come with the drive. I wish the cable was a little longer but it worked out well.

I purchased a bare drive BD-RW drive for my XPS 8700 and needed a cable. Reasonably priced and works well. No difference in performance as compared to the operation of the factory installed BD-ROM drive. Copied CDs, etc. flawlessly.

The cord itself works and is why I’m even giving this review an extra star. The problem is that the right angle side has a lip of extra plastic around it, making it near impossible to get into the port of the ssd (Samsung Evo) with the power port cable directly next to it. I thankfully was able to squeeze it in there after delicately wrestling with it for about 15 minutes.

Bought a Seagate HDD off of amazon and it didn't come with a cord, so I ran to best buy and this one was the best value and its been going strong for 8 months to so...

Good cable for internal Ssd drive connection. Needed cable a little expensive compared to Amazon. Needed the part and Best Buy had it. Good customer service. Knowledgeable employee.

Be aware that SATA has a polarity and on certain drives this cable can be upside down ie. the 90 angle face up in the case not down towards my motherboards SATA controller.

Nothing special about this sata cable. It works and hasn't failed yet since I've put it in service about 2 months ago. I don't expect it to fail as even the cheapest sata cables I've dealt with always work.

Works well, purchased it with an internal drive, cost like $10.00 could not see spending $25 or more for a cable, does the job, I had decided to use on my DVD drive due to the plug design that goes into the drive
