    I have no idea how well it works--because I couldn't even use it. I attached the straight end to my motherboard. I removed some coolers and my graphics card to connect it to my motherboard, re-connected them, connected my SATA DVD drive to its power cable, and promptly discovered that the angled end of the cable had an edge that extended past the port. In fact, it extended so far that I could not completely insert it without putting enough pressure to risk damaging the power port of the drive, which was right next to the SATA port. The angled end was to awkward shaped to attach to my motherboard under my graphics card, so I had to use a different SATA cable. I give the cable a second star because my review can't be critical of its functionality because I wasn't able to experience it.
