The picture is a perfectly accurate representation of the cable, which means the "head" of the plug is VERY wide. You cannot connect the 90 degree angled end to the hard drive or ssd because it overlaps with even the slimmest SATA power cable - meaning you can't plug power into your drive if you use this cable, pretty much defeating the purpose of either cable. If you use the 90 degree end on the motherboard connector, it may conflict with other ports on your MOBO. The straight connector end isn't much better - it JUST BARELY fits with SATA power connected to a SSD or HDD. I will never buy another one of these and will be replacing this one with a real SATA cable ASAP. Also, at nearly $9 for one, these are absurdly expensive by today's standard. Custom sleeved SATA cables only cost $12-$15 apiece.
