If you look at the right-angle head, you'll notice that the head extends beyond the width of the connector. That may or may not be acceptable for your application. If it is for a DVD drive, you may be in trouble as you might need a power cable right next to the data cable. And guess what: that shroud is violating the power plug's space. So caveat emptor, let the buyer beware. Might be great, might be a problem. Aside from that, it's a perfectly good cable. It was a bit troublesome trying to get my brother's desktop working again with this.
