Needed a ATA cable for my new solid state drive but had to trim some of the plastic off to get it to fit right.

It does what I needed it to. Only bought it because I was in a pinch, would rather have gotten a 3.0 cable but they didn't carry any.

It works exactly as it should. I would say though that if your options for purchasing cables like these are not immediate, that you don't buy them from an electronics store. You're paying an over inflated price for something that will work and last just as long at a fraction of the price. ATA cables are longer than they really need to be in my opinion but this was my only option if I wanted to finish my computer build that particular day.

Purchased a new ssd from Best Buy but also needed a new sata cable. This one did the trick. No issues.

Putting together a computer, Needed these cables to copleat the connections to the mother board.. They work great!

Unfortunately this was not a part I needed, but I didn't realizeve it until I had already used it and thrown out the packaging. I don't remember the exact/ correct number butI think this cord does up to 150mb when i need something that did 3gb minimum. I'm new to building computers, and I understand that it was my error, but it isn't listed on the box what the transfer speed is, or it wasn't obvious enough. I saw "sata" cable and thought it was what i needed. It wasn't until i tried to figure out why my hard drives and disk drives were failing that I realized it was the cable and not everything else. Then it took me a while to figure out the cable wasn't 3gb or 6gb when i went to research it because it isn't clearly stated. In conclusion, I think the speed connection should be more apparent on the packaging and in the description. Side note, even though online it said they were in stock in store, each store I went to said they didn't have it, so I had to order it online for in store pick up, and they went into the stock room and got it for me. It's kind of inconvenient b/c i had to wait half an hour for the confirmation and pay online with my card when I intended on using cash.

Its a cord,.. It works... Easy to cable manage being flat... Not sure what else to put of it lol

The only problem I had is that I had to shave the edges of the connector to the hard drive because it was hitting against the power source of the hard drive. It would not fit otherwise. Had it been smooth and not a rounded connector, there would not be an issue. Or if the power connector was located on the other side of the hard drive, there would not be an issue. I should have brought it back, but best buy did not have another type of cable.

Over priced but did the job. Sometimes you just need things in a hurry and you pay extra for convenience.

This serial ATA is okay, I wish Best Buy would carry other in store but for what I need, it works just fine.

It worked perfectly but would have been great if it actually came with my hard drive I was buying...

It may be a little wide and not fit perfectly with some set ups but overall it does its job fine.

Not sure what I can say about this cable - it works just like it's supposed to, easy to install.

Bought this cable because I needed a right angle SATA cable. I couldn't plug it in because the edge was too big to fit next to a standard SATA power cable. It's not like the distance between SATA data and SATA power varies from drive to drive. Does anyone even test their products anymore? Had to take a knife and cut off plastic edge....

I needed a cable for a WD Passport and was given a SATA cable, obviously would not work. Excellent customer service when returning it.

this Sata II cable works great for a backup cable but not for an everyday because it's not a Sata III cable.

The cable is a good length and has a good data transfer rate. However the "right-angle" end is a bit wider than the standard plug. When I plug it in to my hard drive it pushes up against the peripheral power connector putting it at a slight angle. Which in turn smashed one of the pins on the hard drive and bending it into a "right-angle". So if you are looking for a wild egg hunt this is the plug for you.

This cable works fine - does what it is supposed to and seems to be working great in my computer.

I used this cable to connect a second internal hard drive. Easy to install and worked perfectly.

The 90 degree end is designed with an outward curve, which looks nice, but means that end is useless for connecting to a SATA hard drive, because the curved material impinges into the power connector sitting right next to it on SATA drive, which means that the 90 degree end can only be used at the motherboard.
