Other than that it works just fine

They are also SATA 2 which means they bottleneck modern storage devices. If you need a cable now it works as a temporary fix.

On the hard drive end, connector is too big to fit correctly, it had to be pushed in and still looks awkward. Wondering if the harddrive connector would be damaged.

Drove around to 3 different stores before I found this at best buy. It's expensive compared to prices online, but if you're impatient like me and don't want to sit around for shipping, getting it at best buy is the next best thing.

Still have it, use case is still there, have yet to put to use. Would probably only recommend if have all interfacing connections in hand.
