Why the heck would you decided to make your cable wider so that the power cable can't fit??? If you're handy with an Xacto blade or razer you can still use it but you're better off just staying away.

They work but connectors are a little too thick.

For example, they did not fit on my SATA disk drives as the SATA port was right next to the power connector. I had to file down the ridge on the side of the cable connector so it would plug all the way in.
