Just last night I made pasta, it makes my oatmeal and it can do many other things. It makes rice better than an aroma rice cooker and on par with one of the cheaper made in China tiger or Panasonic cookers. This does NOT make rice as good as a made in Japan zojirushi or Tiger. But that’s reflected in the price. It’s a pretty big cooker so you will have to make 2 cups of rice every time. It’s oretty simple to clean, the bowl is removable and so is the top sealing insert and the steam vent on the outside. Pretty comparable to other more expensive coolers. I don’t know if it’s 5 stars at its full price, if I paid full price I’d probably rate it 4 stars. its worth it when it goes on sale for sure.

It’s a bit misleading with the size because the pot only can hold 10 cups of rice, not 20. Have not used it yet but will for the next family party at our house.
