Purchased 21 cubic stainless top freezer refridgerator. Not noisy at all and earplugs are not nessasary. $750 including shipping/tax and removal of old refridgerator. Stainless is quality and smudgeproof. No leaks of any kind. Seals are good. Remains closed after closing doors. Side walls are warm not hot but manual specifically says that is normal. Just as quiet as previous refridgerator that was more a expensive brand. Good looking. This will be my 3 refridgerator in 15 years. 1st one Whirlpool died on 3 years (my fault). 2nd one Frigidaire died on 9 years (not my fault). 3rd one is this Insignia. Bar is real low. Beat 9 years and I will purchase again. Time will tell. I keep cool setting at 4 cause i saw temp creep past 40 degrees. Very satisfied with purchase. For the price you will not get better. Only neg i have is there is no deli draw so i took old refrigerator draw and use it as a bin. Saved a ton of money so i will deal with the draw thing. No biggie. Buy it and don't listen to the neg reviews.

With only a single control for freezer and refrigerator, the fridge is often below freezing and the freezer routinely thaws and refreezes. The freezer can't be trusted at all. On top of that, we have had several occasions where the freezer door popped open after closing the fridge and we didn't know until everything thawed. Now I have a smartthings open/close sensor to alert. I also have an ambient thermometer with an alarm when the freezer goes over 16 degrees Fahrenheit, which it does quite often and for many hours at a time. I live in a major city but support is illusive. We have scheduled service 4 times and each time the tech didn't show. There are only 2 authorized repair people in our area. It is impossible to get anything done because the company won't do anything without 3 visits and we can't get a single one. Things will start working again for a few weeks and then back to its unreliable ways, the freezer decides to thaw its contents again. Nevermind this thing is crazy loud. It's on the basement, afterall. Finally, the organizational aspects of the fridge are poor. It's only good for storing sodas and as a backup. The freezer size is amazing, but again, it doesn't work much of the time.

Pros: Quiet, great price for size (21 cu), premium features w/o the price, felt solid. Cons: Freezer and refridge failed after a year and 1 month (a month after the warranty went out)...freezer at 20 deg (should at 0 or below) and refridge a worthless 60 degs. Insignia guys (support) would only say 'its out of warranty (poliitely)" and i should find a trusted repair shop to take it to...doh...they only become a repair shop if it's under warranty? Anyway, if you buy on get extended warranty.

I chose to leave a review years later to give a TRUE review. It's okay but not great. For a 3 adult household it does not work. The bottom storage drawers break off if there is too much is them butbthe problem is what was put in there wasn't much more than my previous refrigerator. Had to get customer service to send both replacements. It is also noiser than my 15 yr old refrigerator! Storage shelves are not at all strong enough and tend to seperate from the molding.l, causing crumbs to get sealed in there. The back of refrigerator tends to not keep consistent temperature no matter how you store items, what you store, or what temperature you put it at. Liquid items sometimes ice up! For its size a smaller double door actually holds more and stores more efficiently. Would never purchase again.

Its very sleek and spacious, however the LED lights are constantly blinking, as well as the fridge light. I tried the five second press hold, to adjust the coldness but no go. Hopefully someone can help me, and give me a number to call for help. Digital fridges are way too complicated, but its a nice fridge.

We are quite happy with the refrigerator. It is not overly noisy and keeps the right temperature. I just love the door shelving!!

Needed to replace 12 year old Kenmore Bottom Freezer. Wanted more room and stainless steel finish. Saw this on line and it met the space requirements in our kitchen. Also liked it is energy star and eligible for local utility rebate. So far it is working well, not loud, a rather low pleasant hum when compressor runs. Plenty of space in freezer and refrigerator sections. Major consumer publication also gave it an overall very good rating. As of day 3, happy with purchase. Will update if anything changes.

I've had my refrigerator for about three years. It's fine except for a couple of issues. I was disappointed that the shelves don't slide out. That makes it awkward for us tall people to get food in and out. The shelf in the freezer is too short. It has fallen down a number of times. I realized it will not hold anything heavy. I finally had to remove it so I could get more food inside. The bottom shelf seems to be permanent and I have not found a way to clean the gunk that has seeped underneath. The bins are a little deceptive as they look bigger than they are. They are angled and trapezoidal in shape. These issues will keep me from buying this model again. I like the Insignia brand, but this product could have been thought out a little better.

Does not stay cold enough for freezer, had to set to highest setting to keep things frozen in the freezer. After 4 years door gasket is going and causing condensation on inside of refrigerator

The Insignia brand is a great buy, we are very happy with the purchase, There is enough room in the freezer and in the large refrigerator

Sounded like a 90s computer right from the start. LOUD! Milk freezes in the back, Ice cream won’t freeze, even after all the maintenance. 4 years later it works the same- SOUNDS the same, but the doors are off alignment, gasket warped, and the plastics are deteriorating. Very bad quality. Needed a fridge in a pinch, won’t do this brand again.

Worst Refregirator I ever invested in. Freezer makes ice, which gets products get weird taste after I melt them. Not safe for meat. I placed it in the garage just to keep beverages in. Otherwise, it’s worthless. Get Maytag, more reliable appliances. Never insignia or Samsung.

Refrigerator was delivered timely and professionally. Looks great and works well, love the compartments.

This is a very open refrigerator. Only two spaces for large items like milk & juice. Needs more sectioned off spaces. This a great for a 2nd refrigerator, which is what we are using our for.
