Overall, this is a really nice fridge with lots of space. The non-handle design is quite nice, and gives the fridge a sleek look. I live in a rental property, and the fridge that was here was old, loud, and gave off quite a bit of heat being such an old design. I was pleased that this fridge is much quieter and doesn't give off much noticeable heat. The space is well proportioned between the freezer and the fridge, having ample storage space in both. The only complaint I have is that the fridge doors lower hinge creates a black powder that builds up on the floor under it. I am guessing it is because something is rubbing the way it isn't supposed to and plastic dust is slowing coming off. Only time will tell if it wears enough to cause a problem.

The design and overall function of this refrigerator is very good. It looks sharp and I like that it doesnt leave fingerprints like other stainless steel products. My biggest complaint is that it makes a humming noise most of the day and night and its a rather loud humming- not like the normal appliance sound, but much louder. Other people noted that in their reviews I noticed too. When i put my hand against it, sometimes it quiets down but as soon as I move away it starts again. We have tried placing things on top of it or against it but havent been able to stop that hum. For the cost the look and functionality is very good and we are pleased.

Over all it is a decent budget friendly fridge. The first fridge was delivered damaged and was replaced by BestBuy. They made it fairly easy to get it exchanged it but you must call them. The delivery drivers can't initiate the exchange even if they say they will start the process. Once the replacement fridge was delivered I tried to change the direction of the door swing with the included hardware and the freezer door would bind and longer stay close. I switched it back to the original direction and will just use it that way. Overall it does a good job of cooling, design is appealing and it will not break the bank. Rated a 4 star because I could not reverse the door swing as I should have been. I would recommend this fridge to a friend but I would also tell them not to count on being able to reverse the door.

After a month of use, the frig works great. The real test will be 5+ years out. Pros Nice looking SS finish. Good size at 21 CF Cools evenly for the most part Can hold 4+ gallons of milk or whatever More energy efficient than our 25 year old model Cons A bit noisy, gurgle...gurgle.. Shelves are not very configurable. We are not very picky in the frig dept, but even cooling, and longevity are important. New appliances generally do not breakdown, so time will tell.

Took a little getting used to. The freezer is bigger than expected. We do have to bend over to see what's in the fridge but not a big deal. It does make a slight louder noise than other refrigerators we've owned but again no big deal. I do have to put my gallons of milk on the door again no big deal. Overall great fridge at a great price.

I like the wide clear door shelves.It holds the Milk and other stuff. It is very quiet ! The Freezer work Great , It keeps things really cold. But it doesn't have an ice maker. The Freezer is nice and large. So far it is working Great . I also like the L E D frig ,light . The delivery was on time.

Nice refrigerator. I like the black stainless finish. LED lighting inside is nice. The only thing I really don't like is the fact that it doesn't have a drawer for meats and cheeses etc.

I have to say that this fridge gave us problems from day one. Here are the cons 1) The fridge is loud, even louder than our old fridge which was unexpected. 2) After only a week the door started making a squeaking sound when opening and closing. 3) It only comes with a 1yr factory warranty I was too busy with work and could not reach out to the manufacturer on time, so the warranty ended. Out of curiosity, I went on the Insigna website and was shocked to see all the products they have "discontinued." All in all, maybe I should have bought a known name brand fridge and paid a bit more vs having a really bad fridge only 2 yrs later. *The door got worse and it makes this terrible loud clicking noise now and seems to be very close to breaking off.

Great spacious fridge. Delivery was a breeze and fridge is of great quality. Price was decent and great value. Overall a good fridge and stainless steel is a nice touch. Only thing is to wait and see how long it will last!

This refrigerator is perfect for use as a primary refrigerator, boasting recessed pulls on the doors. It has a clean, contemporary look in stainless steel. An ice maker kit is available. I’m using it in my garage to store additional food, ice and beverages. A great value!!

I order led the entire Insignia kitchen set (fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave) and it was about $1,000 less than similar sets elsewhere. This fridge is roomy, looks great, and does it’s job well.

I love the streamlined look! Very simple inside and out = easy to clean, which is wonderful for an appliance, especially a frig! Spacious. After years with a side-by-side frig, I'm finding that the traditional freezer on top style seems much roomier, including large produce drawers. Price was great!

I like this refrigerator. The freezer and fridge is nice and spacious. I love the large clear door shelves. I can place my gallon of water on it for easy access. I was worried about the lighting and the noise it made people talked about in the reviews, but I took a chance for the price. The lighting doesn't bother me especially since I use the kitchen light when I'm in the kitchen. It does make noise occasionally but I try to tune it out.

After getting the wrong size refrigerator, then having two different refrigerators that were broken this final one was the perfect fit. However Best Buy did not come through with their promise about installing a ice maker

Bought this refrigerator for an extra refrigerator for the garage. It performs excellent for that. Great size. It is a little more noisy than a more expensive unit of this size, but at this price for 21 cu ft I have no complaints.

The delivery people said the item was fine but when they brought the pieces of the refrig inside we noticed a dent in the freezer door They said they didn't notice but we took photos and made a notation on the delivery paperwork. We asked for them to pass along that information but apparently they did not. We were in the process of finding the correct person to speak to when we received this e-mail. They also thought the unit wouldn't fit but we knew it would because we measured the space and also our old refrig was even larger. We expect some compensation for this damaged unit and negative experience.

Some pros/cons, but for the price it's a great refrigerator. Shelf adjustment is limited, I would recommend the next size up if you're tall. The freezer compartment is so large the fridge part is lower, you have to stoop down or step back to see what's on the top shelves of the fridge area. To put tall items on top shelf, you have to tilt them to make it past top front which is lower than back half, same when taking them out. Inconvenient if you like to keep milk on top shelf rather than on door. The drawers and door shelves are very roomy, but are made of thin plastic so you can't be too rough on them. The reviews mentioned noise, but I followed the set-up instructions to the letter and had no issues with noise. On my first Insignia fridge, after plugging it in, it did make a loud vibrating noise, like the fan fluttering and it made an intermittent knocking noise, but it went away by the next morning. On my second Insignia, the delivery men plugged it in after bringing it into my kitchen. The user guide says to wait 4 hours to let it settle, I unplugged it right away and waited the 4 hours. This one made a high pitched vibrating sound. It was really annoying, but no noise the next day. It's almost too quiet, I keep checking the thermometers in both compartments and it's cooling just fine. (Side note: Best Buy should train delivery guys not to plug in refrigerator or update the user guide if it's okay to do so. And when old refrigerator is removed, to be careful, there may be water leak. The deliver guys ended up spilling a lot of water onto my hardwood floors.)

Frankly, the only major disappointment is the doors that are not very good at closing sometimes. if you swing the door too quickly, it may bounce back. since we use it in garage, I found the door open a bit, and that would have been pretty bad if I did that later in the evening and it had been slightly open all night. I dont know what they can do to ensure more "stickiness". Otherwise, there is ample space both in the fridge and freezer. That is the good part. and it keeps things cold and frozen.. but the doors make it only a 3 star purchase.

I actually own a few apartments been a good investment tenants love the look and the price is right for a item tenants will just best up. I will say I have one two years old few rust spots but last tenant in there was really dirty never cleaned I got some of it out with wd40

It's very decent refrigerator, sizewise enough to store many things. but less than a year to use, actually our freezer has not been working well. kinda melting. People said big noise, yes, it has, but not bothering really much.
