The TV worked for awhile but now it will not pick up wifi. We have tried many things but nothing fixes the problem. Maybe just a lemon. Hoping to get it replaced under factory warranty. Not sure if anyone else has had these problems with this model. Seems like the company will to something about the issue.

Needed to replace a small old dumb tv that was in the kitchen. This Insignia has the perfect dimensions and I caught it on sale at the right time. Even for that price I expected more. It is SO LAGGY on startup and just makes using the tv an overall annoying process. And the circle ring on the remote popped off and will not reattach properly. I was forced to find another remote elsewhere as Insignia/BB weren't helpful. Its not even an exact replacement (a few if the shortcut buttons are different) but it works. Kind of. But I digress. With the lag, the interface is nothing but rage-inducing. Should have stuck with a dumb tv with direct channel inputs instead. Lesson learned.

Good TV, but not with Charter Spectrum service.

Great TV, but will not work with Spectrum service. Plan on buying a Roku if you have Spectrum because that is the only way to watch without using the receiver from Spectrum. The smart TV feature is incompatible.

TV picture is fine but will not allow downloading our cable app (spectrum) so is um...about 80% less useful than it could be. Wonder who made the deal with Amazon to prevent cable apps from working? Anyway a raw deal for consumers!

Worse thing I have ever bought from Best Buy. What a piece junk. No channel changer on the remote. Glad I have a universal remote. When watching analog and changing channels the TV will just restart up. What a hassle. The picture on analog is just horrible. Wish I had never bought this piece of junk.

I'm here to help and want to make sure you're getting the best viewing experience possible. Can you please tell me more about what's happening when you say the TV is slow to respond? The first one I bought did not have a remote in the box. Rather than sending me a remote, Best Buy told me to return the whole TV. Second one was nicer and had a working remote. Resolution is good, but image processing seems to be lacking, and pixelation is frequent with higher resolution sources.

A great TV, easy to setup, easy to use.

This is an initial review after a few hours of use: Setup was easy and pretty quick; I have good fast home internent, and it was immediately detected, and setup proceeded from there. A very intuititve setup interface. I had to sign-in with Amazon, that went quickly, and all was good (As I recall, I don't think you have to have an Amazon account to use this TV). Picture quality is good, especially face-on. Viewing at an angle is not that bad, but facial quality (accurate skin tones) quickly worsen though other details remain fine. It works well as a 1080p. I did some tweaking to the picture settings, actually turning down color and brightness a bit, and it helped. I regularly use 4k screens, I have to keep that in mind. This TV has a very good picture. A perfect kitchen TV, which is where it sits. Audio quality is good. You clearling hear stereo separation with the two speakers which have plenty of volume. FireTV interface: I had no prior experience with this interace or with FireTV. It's basically just the OS for this TV. But I have found it very easy to use, intuitive, and everything moves quickly, responsive, little to no significant lag time. I found this a pleasant surpirse. TIP: to quickly access some of the settings, including picture quality, hold down the home button. This allows you to access those setting while still watching your current program. A really nice feature; our big fancy OLED TV does not have this feature. External attachments: so this easily let me connect to some Bluetooth speakers in another room. That was amazing, easy, and sound was good. And that brings up Alexa. I have never used Alexa, but it is built into this system and so far works really well. I can use it for requesting, say, Netflix, or my Cable connection. So while I had the TV attached to my Bluetooth speakers, I said "PLay Sting" and, in like 2 seconds, there was Sting. Remote: somewhat small, but perfect, easy to use, very intutitve, one of the best remotes I've ever used, actually. Overall initial impression: this is just what I wanted. The price is a bit high, but so far it works quite well, good picture and sound, an easy interface, and it was easy to set up and attach to my cable system. Still have more to lelarn in using it, but no concerns. In short, great TV

I'm sure the TV would have been wonderful, but the "smartness" of the TV was too smart for me. I have Comcast and could not coordinate the Fire streaming channels with the comcast channel lineup. Even using the "Input" button didn't help me switch between them. I returned this TV and purchased the non-smart Insignia.
