This review is about Best Buy and their lousy customer service and dishonest sales associates. Call in service people are incompetent liars from some other country (has nothing to do with their incompetence). Very disappointed with them. When I purchased a previous item, I was told that my plan was in good standing, when it was expired and in a grace period. I specifically asked about this, and the sales associate in Jackson, TN lied to me and said it was valid. I checked my app, and it said it did not need to be renewed until 2027. I then received an email that it had expired and that is when I called the customer service line. I was told it had expired, and the 2027 date had disappeared from my app. The incompetent, lying customer service representative told me that it could not be reinstated. She then told me that she could offer me a 4 year plan for the printer. I agreed, then she said that I could not purchase that plan after all. I told her she lied to me and that I wanted her name and case number and that I would be contacting her supervisor. She backtracked and said I could purchase the plan. She emailed me a link where I could complete the purchase. After the call, I went to the link and it said that the offer was not available. I called back later and spoke with another person. She sent me a new link and said I had to stay on the phone with her to complete the purchase. She got the plan approved and said she would report the lying customer service rep, and the lying sales associate. I highly doubt she did either. Best Buy is a scam and I wouldn't purchase anything from them, except that it is the only place I can get certain items.
