Good small TV

I don't like that it doesn't work like my big TV, but it serves the purpose and I can watch while I'm cooking and working in the kitchen.

She accidentally cracked the screen. But loved it. So I purchased this one to replace it. Has all the features I was looking for. Would purchase from this brand again. And preferred ordering directly from best buy.

It’s very difficult to increase/decrease the volume, and every time you shut the TV off it turns back on. This is definitely an issue with this TV in general because I have two and have issues with both. I thought it was a one off and couldn’t return because it was after the return period. Second one was purchased right before a vacation and didn’t have time to return it. Terrible TV.

Best Service Ever

He should be the Best Buy spokesman... so very professional and honest... He explains everything so a layman can understand... patience must be his middle name... Fire TV has learning curve

Setup was not as easy as it was with our LGs. Fire also limits you to Amazon compliant apps. We installed without enabling Alexa which was harder than it should be. Works well once you sign into everything.

Too quiet

Plays two channels!

Amazon blocks ATT-TV app rendering this TV useless

I should have been able to easily download the ATT-TV app so I can stream all my local and cable programs. This TV uses the FIRE TV by Amazon as it's base program. Apparently, Amazon blocks ATT-TV. and it may block others as well. There are NO opportunities to create a search, so the user only has access to the programming that Amazon deems worthy.

Exercise screen

It doesn’t support casting; however, works fine with the app so we have a useable screen without having to look through the handle bars when doing non-biking exercise.

Works great with Alexa Amazon & Netflix It's great that it still has a TV tuner for antenna over-the-air channels. I see details I've never seen before.

Disney plus does not work on tv

Gets to the profile screen and it gets stuck on loading. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. This is one of the reasons I bought this tv for them.

Use this for the kitchen and it works perfectly fine. Has the bells and whistles of a smart TV.

Only problem is I set it to go to turn on where it was turned off but goes to fire home screen. Worked a few times at first but doesnt anymore no big deal but have to have two remotes.

I had a little trouble when I switch to antenna. A little difficult to find source to change to antenna. Very happy with the TV and use it in my kitchen.

New OS has remote detection issues

In doing so they introduced the most annoying bug in the history of bugs, the remote detection error. DO NOT buy this or any other fire tv if you plan on using any other remote than the original one. I decided since the new interface was slow and annoying that i would just switch to a roku stick. Well i rue the day i did that, not because roku is bad but because the fire tv constantly pops this hard stop error on the screen locking me out unless i go grab the fire remote and hit the ok button. Its the most inconvenient and frustrating thing ive ever experienced!!

Great little TV

Sits in front of bike. Amazon and Netflix work flawlessly for streaming during workouts. I don't use any of the "bike ride" streaming or workout streaming apps.

It was more complicated to set up than the instructions suggested but I received patient and thorough instructions when I called customer service.
