This doesn't apply to the 2 55" insignia fire tvs i own. I can only recommend you use it directly plugged into router to help with lag. Other than that it works just fine, seems to lag or slow when using wifi, yes it still connects and works.

I set the picture mode to the natural setting that gives the picture a toned down color scheme that I like with more even color temperatures. The over the air antenna content is good and the internet content has a lot of features that comes with the Fire TV edition. The remote is simple and easy to use for selection of over the air antenna channels or for selection of Fire TV content.
