Just set it up today. Being two “little old ladies,” my friend and I were nervous about getting a 65” TV out of the box, attaching the bird feet, and setting it into the cabinet without “pinching” the screen. The box is HUGE. However, much to our relief, it’s large due to excellent packing and the design of the boxing allows easy lifting out. Also, the lightweight TV is easy to carefully maneuver. Everything was so simple. Setting it up to operate was the easiest of any TV I have purchased. The outside measurements are accurate, which is very important if you’ve bought furniture into which it must fit. I cannot comment on technical aspects, being as non-technical as I am, but I’m pleased with both video and audio. The remote is just the right size, simple and intuitive. The Best Buy delivery was great! Small arrival window and right on time. The delivery date was farther out than I would have liked, but I understand supply and demand and supply chain problems right now might be the cause. It was worth the wait.

Great little TV purchased for a guest bedroom. Easy setup, great picture, and most impressive is the sound. Most smaller sets have lousy speakers but not this one. I bought it for $79. How could you possibly go wrong at that price!

Nice TV, sharp and clear, easy setup. It should be 5 stars, however, the fact that it is very slow when pulling up the last few channels to pick, and sometimes the button takes so long that it times out and I have to hit it again to see them along the bottom of the screen. They could have used a faster processor. Also, I had a power outage and now it appears that I might have to reset the time zone, as some channels display the programs in the list(antenna) with the correct one for the time, and some do not. Also, there is no 'previous channel' button - if you hit the 'back button' or reverse or 180 or whatever you want to call the U-turn button, it could go back to a TV station, or it could go back to the Prime menu, or even the home menu at anytime. A little software tweaking might help. But then again, so would using words above the buttons and not just hieroglyphics that everyone uses nowadays. Why did I bother to read 60 years ago when nothing is printed anymore? Gonna be amusing 100,000 years from now when they dig up stuff from this era and wonder why we went from pictures to a written word, and then go back to only pictures again on signs, buttons, etc.. All in all, you can't beat the price for the quality and features.

I purchased this for an RV. I had to take a recently purchased tv back to Best Buy because it had SmartCast. Nothing but problems with it. Couldn't get to antenna tv. The software on that one was terrible, and slow. With this Insignia 24", setup took about 45 minutes after connecting it to my wifi. Mostly due to it downloading updates for the tv. Once that was complete the Smart Fire software worked great! Netflix, YouTube etc, all worked great. I switched to antenna tv and it quickly scanned to find over 100 channels. What made it even nicer was when the antenna tv button is pushed a menu of the stations comes up and has a description of the program. None of this was available when I tried the tv with SmartCast. Overall an excellent tv that can hold numerous apps for wifi use. Just be patient after you connect it to wifi as it will begin it's update process.

Super easy to set up, connected to and runs perfectly off WiFi that I have problems using on my laptop for school work so I was beyond pleased. Quality of TV, picture, sound and price was great for size. Also loved that it was so light I could move it around on my own (TV sits on shelf taller than me). Have not added or used all apps yet but so far the ones used work perfectly and remote works from a pretty good distance. Will definitely get same brand in future.

I'm really happy with my "little TV". I wanted something for the kitchen and this worked out better than expected, I also purchased a full motion mount, so it's able to be viewed in the kitchen or the dining room. Very easy to set up and and having a TV with Amazon fire built in helped make it a very clean installation with no extra cables or wires or boxes. Will buy another one when I finish redoing my home office.

What a wonderfully priced TV. I use it in the garage using wifi/Amazon Prime. Sound is wonderful. Picture is really great for this size. Set up was a breeze. I can literally unplug and move it to the back yard, plug it in and watch while swimming, running the BBQ or just having a drink under our covered patio set.

Excellent TV in its class for the price I replaced my 10 year old Vizio TV in kitchen. Perfect fit under the cabinet and less weight.. WIFI works great. Pictute quality is best. Only thing is Remote is not working well. Slow response or struck temporarily. This is not an issue. Not too many models in this size. I am very happy with my purchase.

Well, this TV is geared more for using it as a Fire TV rather than a TV for cable or over-the-air broadcasts. When it is turned on, the Fire TV user interface appears by default. I would think it would select the same mode as that was used when it was turned off. So, if I want to watch the TV using my cable set top box, I have select the input icon, the select Composite Video (or HDMI if that's the type of input you are using.) If I did not have cable, and always used the TV for streaming, that would be fine. But, most of the time, I turn the TV on to view programming from my cable system. I just wish it came up in the same mode as I last used. I have the TV mounted to an articulating mount on the wall, which was very easy to accomplish. The VESA mounting pattern is 100 x 100. The video clarity is good. The sound is good coming from the internal speaker. All in all, considering the $100 I paid for the TV, I can't ask for more.

Had hoped to find a very small TV with smart features, and this one completely exceeded my hopes – especially for the price. It even streams HBO which helps me not have to buy separate accessories, although this tv has a generous 3 hdmi as well as USB inputs. Was worried that learning yet another new remote will be difficult for a family member, but it’s really the easiest ever – especially with Alexa voice commands. Decent picture and sound; it also sleeps and darkens its screen after a period of time which makes it great for the bedroom. Took no time to set up physically and install a few apps with prompts. Also downloaded a remote control app for iOS! Thank you, Best Buy!

I'm really glad I did my research. This is a great product. I had a slight learning curve with the homepage because it's different than my other smart TV. I carefully set it up with no glitches or problems. It's very light weight so I was careful. Fortunately, it will be mounted and then not touched except for dusting because the feet are lightweight plastic, and a little wobbly. The picture, and sound are high quality. Speakers can be loud and clear. I added an antenna and with my wi-fi I was able to navigate the home screen and scan local channels, and watch movies from Amazon, or any other provider at the touch of a finger. I don't have cable and with this set I don't need it. I have way too many viewing options. I have not tried the voice activation yet. I'm not interested in talking to the TV. I would definitely recommend.

Great picture and the price was a steal. We also got a free echo show with purchase of our TV set. It was an easy set up as well. I would recommend for a bedroom. It is too small for a living room. I would buy same brand in future.

We replaced out 19” Insignia that was six years old for a 24” Insignia from Best Buy. We no longer need Roku because of the upgrade. This smart TV for the kitchen is perfect. Best Buy own brand tv’s are priced to sell. We even got a free month of Fubo TV with purchase

Nice little tv. Needed something small that I could switch out between my camper and home gym and this fit the bill. Perfect because its smart so I can load all of my apps on it instead hooking it up through a bluray or any cable wires. Great picture and sound, very happy so far

Great little TV for my kitchen that I picked up on sale at a super price! The picture is beautiful and colors are vivid with deepest blacks, etc. No washed out screen on this TV! I can't say much about the built in apps because I have an external streaming box that I find loads much faster and it also has some apps I cannot get on the Fire TV. I did have to unplug the TV a couple times because for some reason it wouldn't turn on with my remote but after it reset everything seemed okay again. Other than that, at least for now, it works great and I enjoy the size too. I did buy an Insignia mini soundbar which was the perfect addition. Not that the TV had bad sound, it's just I like a bit more punch when I listen to my TV sets. A perfect fit for the space I have it in! Recommended!

I bought this 24in Insignia TV mainly to use with Amazon Halo App workouts. I wanted a larger screen and intended to cast them from my phone to the TV. The TV was on sale at the time of purchase, with an Amazon Echo Dot and 3-months Apple TV included. At under $100, it was a great price and gave me a screen that was large enough for my needs. The first TV I received was unusable due to a crack in the LCD screen. It wasn't visible until the TV was turned on. BestBuy had no problem replacing it for me. Do turn on the TV soon after you receive it to check for such non-obvious faults. The replacement TV has worked well. It was easy to setup. This is a Fire Edition TV so it needs to be linked to an Amazon account. We already were using Fire TV via our Samsung TV so buying this TV with Fire already integrated was ideal for us. The screen size works for the narrow room I use it in. It is sufficiently large enough for me to easily follow workouts, which was my primary reason to purchase this. I also have watched TV programs on it and haven't had any issues. The screen colors seem a little washed out, or perhaps the screen is a little overly bright, but that hasn't interfered with my usage. The casting from my phone worked sporadically and after about 2 weeks, the TV stopped playing Audio when casting. I spent some time resetting and rebooting, deleting and reinstalling apps, and all that, to no avail. I finally bought an HDMI adapter for the phone/TV connection and have had no issues with that. I was using the AirScreen app for casting, purchased via the Amazon App store. It still works fully on the Samsung TV but not on the Insignia Fire TV. Casting and Airplay can be finicky so while I had to make another purchase in order to make the use I intended with this TV, I'm still pleased with its overall performance. I had no issues with connecting the TV to my WIFI. I haven't noticed the TV being slow in connecting. I click the remote button, it turns on and I can access all the Fire TV options that are available within our account. I can easily choose the input option I need when doing workouts (HDMI) and I can also just click on the home button and have all the Fire TV program options available. And yes, I have used it for more than workouts! The TV programs and options sync correctly. In our house, we can at times, use a TV, a Kindle Fire, or a computer to access Prime Video and Fire TV programming. This Insignia TV has fitted into that ecosystem without an issue. It also was easily detected by the Alexa system. I recently linked the Insignia TV to the EchoDot but haven't made much use of the voice controls yet or attempted to view security footage through the TV. Overall, I am very pleased with the TV. I wanted a device that was large enough to view workouts on but not overly large. This small TV fitted that niche, larger than a phone or tablet but small enough to fit in the space I used. I wanted one that was easy to set up. I liked the idea of not needing an extra piece of equipment, like a hub or FireTV/Roku etc. stick to access programs. This Insignia TV ticked all those boxes for me. The TV streaming quality is perfectly adequate for my needs. I tend to stream at the lower rates anyway on most devices, just because I live in a rural area with certain limits on accessibility. If you are someone who needs HD, then this is probably not the TV for you. But for anyone who wants a small, convenient-sized TV, one that uses Fire TV system, and is someone who doesn't need HD and doesn't expect perfection in color, I'd recommend this 24-in Fire TV.
