Do not buy “open box”

Mine came without the fire tv remote so I had to buy another one! Best Buy said it was “an open box” so it didn’t come with it but they were advertising like it came with it! Otherwise I would have bought a new one! The TV is good for the size but buy new one instead of open box. My mistake!

Fire TV learning takes some time

It is taking some time to get our bearings with the Fire TV. Takes a bit more tech knowledge to understand what steps need to be done to get things set up well. We use it a lot for YouTube viewing. Purchased a low-cost DVD player for it. The picture from the DVD is not fullscreen so we have more adjustments to make, I guess. The picture is good and we use Bluetooth for wearing headphones.

Not so bad, but have issues

There is no way to run the TV without a remote (i.e., no buttons to allow for manual handling). 3. THE REMOTE - would guess mine works 20% of the time, with changing batteries every couple of days. No idea what it is. Usually have to unplug the TV before I even have a chance to get the remote to connect.
