It has a nice display even though it isn’t 4k. The only real negatives here are… #1. It’s very aggressive in pushing the smart features on you, instead of allowing them to exist passively until you need them. #2. There is no option in the settings to choose a default power-on input. We purchased this for my elderly mother to watch in bed, thinking it would simplify her having to learn a new remote. No such luck, as each time you turn it on you have to select the source input, rather than it remembering your previous selection. So, she had to relearn how to watch a modern television again anyway. Anyone with elderly parents knows the frustration involved with teaching them new technology, lol. So, I recommend this product only if those issues don’t bother you.

Posted .Try the Power On feature, when enabled, your TV turns on displaying the last used input. Go to Settings > Display & Sounds > Power Controls > Power On > and select Last Input.

Found this one on sale for $99 and hoped it would perform well with the HDTV antenna I also got since I have no cable in the garage. After set-up I got 57 over the air channels, more than I expected. But I was pleasantly surprised that it used bluetooth to connect to the internet in the house and you can receive Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and IMDb if you have those services.
