You can use wifi or your hotspot and it works amazing. If you have a portable battery like a jackery this will run off it for hours.

Comes with smart capabilities built in so no extra attachments are needed. The sound, well not TV has good sound quality and the picture is ok for now more than what I use it for as an extra monitor for my laptop and occasionally cooking a long with a YouTube videos.
