Was looking for a cheap TV Monitor and thats what I use it for. Once I found out it was a Fire TV, I tried to sideload apks to it. However this tv uses a Linux OS and can't be sideloaded. Just FYI in case anybody is Looking for a Android Fire TV OS. This one is Not it. However as a cheap monitor and I'm not using anything Amazon. It's fine.

The new one was a pain to set up with the Spectrum remote but had to do it because mom has Alzheimer's and can't work with two remotes. Great picture and sound for such a small TV. Great price. Wish there were TV options that weren't smart TVs to make it easier to set up if you don't need those features.

A Firetv For Good

It often lags behind, reloops tv for hours, has trouble shutting down. The sound still plays when the TV turns off. Weird!
