Insignia doesn't work for very long, not friendly!

The setup is not intuitive and older older folks may need a LOT of help navigating setup and use. This was being used for Over-the_Air TV rather than streaming and worked well as long as the unit worked. Tuner needed to rescan TV channels often. Finally couldn't find ANY TV channels, even though a replacement TV worked just fine in the same location and with the same antenna. Spend a little more to get a TV that will last longer.

Not Dish friendly

Missing parts.

Come without remote control and legs screw. I ordered it online, and the solution from customer service is only to return it to the store. If I was able to go to the store not ordered it online.

Frequent sound issues with no permanent fix

For no apparent reason, sound either drops-out or crackles at an ear-splitting volume. Have tried resetting, checking for os updates, google for other possible fixes, with no luck. Doesn't matter programming source, sound just isn't consistent. Returned the first one within days of purchase, and will probably have to return this one and get something else. That's difficult in a 24/27 inch footprint and with real HD.

These were synced together for a dual monitor set-up and functioned as TV's as well as computer monitors. On the third day the monitors would not work correctly. 1 would turn on the other would not show picture. Ended up returning both as they did not meet my needs and did not work properly when linking them together through windows.

Awkward as monitor, poor speakers

I have to wait for it to boot each time instead of letting me set HDMI Input as default. Had to buy external speakers as the built-in can't be heard even at max setting.
