Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In 2021 I purchased the predecessor to this TV: Insignia 24" Class F20 Series LED HD Smart Fire TV Model #NS-24DF310NA21, SKU 6391525 I had submitted a positive review for this TV not too long after the purchase because it had no issues for the first year. And then the Insignia TV turned out to be a complete and total pile of cow plop after that. After just over a year, the TV started to turn off on its own, and it also started to reboot constantly as well. Both of these issues occurred more frequently with time, to the point where it was happening several times a week. It looks like this is still an issue with this current model - based on several reviews, so Insignia still has not fixed these problems. We replaced the Insignia TV with a 2007 Sanyo 24" TV that is still working, Let that sink in - a Sanyo from almost 20 years ago is still working without any issues. I am finally going to replace this Sanyo TV with an LG. In the future I will stick with Samsung, LG and Sony. BTW the 40" Samsung TV which I also bought from best Buy in 2010 is still working without any issues 15 years later. The reality is you get what you pay for. Anyone who purchases this current Insignia Fire TV should consider it a throw away device based on the price. Don't expect it to work properly or be reliable for more than a year, maybe 2 years if you're lucky. This is truly a Dumb TV.

But it only cost $80. That said, the sound wasn't as bad as I feared it would be. So, it sits in my kitchen where I can keep up with the news. If you have low expectations, you'll feel justified in spending 80 bucks on this tv.
