    The picture and sound are clear, so I gave it two stars. Otherwise, it's annoying, and what you'd expect for the lowest-priced TV. It shuts off by itself, needs to be rebooted, and has the stupidest little remote.

    I bought two of these for my kids’ rooms. They are awful! They constantly glitch & have to be unplugged so they can reboot. One of them makes a horrible clicking noise which I think is the speaker. The other one you can’t adjust the volume using the remote! I understand that you get what you pay for, but it’s still ridiculous that they both have to be replaced already.

    We didn't even get what we paid for

    When you buy the lowest or nearly price - anything - you shouldn't expect top of the line features. You should realize, for example, a tv like this will have light bleed, the speakers will not be the best, etc. But you do expect it to WORK. This tv does not live up to that expectation. After 3+ weeks, i.e., past the return period, it has started randomly rebooting and sometimes not getting past the Amazon Fire startup screen. Disconnecting and reconnecting power occasionally gets it running again, but not always, and usually not for long before it glitches again. I searched online and found a way to reset it to factory settings (hold the hidden button under the little red light on the front while plugging it in to power - may require two people - let go when the white screen appears - good luck after that). Sadly, even resetting didn't permanently fix the problem (plus you have to set up all your streaming services again each time you do that). It's a shame - when it works it's fine for our purpose (mounted in front of our treadmill, big help motivating people in the house to get their steps!) But more and more often, it just doesn't work. So we do our steps in silence, dreading each one, staring at a blank screen - no movie, no binge-of-the-week episode, no Bluey. Hopefully Insignia will respond here as they have to others with some way to remedy the situation.

    Tv takes a long time to turn on and get a picture. It also randomly will change channels. Also always wants remote control close by or shows you a message.

    Cannot just punch a number on the remote !

    Weird system where you have to scroll down through a bunch of channels to arrive at your program, as if you were shopping on amazon. Cannot simply punch a number in to the remote to reach that station, and then punch another number to get to that station, and then "return" back and forth between the two. You have managed to make it LESS ACCESSIBLE. TV image is fine.

    TV cannot be set up because no remote in box

    Got tv for Christmas gift. Had no remote in box. No problem, my cable remote will work-NOPE-you have to have tv remote to set tv up and get past the initial screen!! Best Buy nor Insignia willing to send a replacement remote because it was a gift so I do not have info from when tv was purchased..... They say I can buy a replacement remote-for a brand new tv in the box...lol.
