    After 2 months of minimal use, the TV stop working. I had sound but no picture.

    I am giving two stars rather than one because the video quality is very good and the audio acceptable, but other than that I truly regret this purchase from Best Buy Co. via Amazon Prime Days. Installation and setup was EXTREMELY time consuming and user unfriendly. Even attaching the plastic feet to serve as a screen stand was hard , but particularly the online setup. That process was horribly clunky, kept hanging on me, especially during updates. I then did a hard reboot back to factory defaults twice, and on the second one of those then when it came back up it wouldn't except input from the remote control as to what my preferred language was. Was basically locked out. Had to go to the web to find out I should unplug, then press and hold the on-unit power button while re-plugging and then hold the HOME button on the remote for 15 seconds during the three visible dots on powering back on. Come on! Once past that, still gave me a bunch of grief on updates, and finally the next morning appeared to have installed them all. Then I find out, with two separate antennae I tried -- including one with an amplifier -- that local over-the-air channels are almost totally unrecognized during scan. USELESS FOR OVER-THE-AIR! Plus, via wifi to my home router it will show me (with considerable difficulty in setting up) the local ABC and NBC channels, but because I am a Comcast Xfinity customer will get partly through the process on setting up the local CBS channel, then suddenly balk and say sorry, Xfinity not supported by CBS. One of the main reasons I bought this set was for use on local channels in a room of mine that doesn't have a cable box. Finally, the combination remote-control and on-screen menu is slow and in my opinion not very intuitive. I strongly recommend you AVOID this product.

    Dimensions on Best Buy website are wrong.

    Actually the quality of the television for the price is good value. I have no issues with the picture or sound. However I had to deduct some stars because the physical dimensions of the television given on the Best Buy website are smaller than the one delivered and it did not fit in the space for which it was purchased. Stated height with stand is 14.4 inches the unit delivered had a height with stand of 15.1 inches (and that is stated on the packaging). I don't know who is at fault between Best Buy and Insignia, but it was disappointing.

    Nice compact Fire TV w/voice remote. The voice functionality works great using the remote, I bought it specifically to watch YouTube videos while I cook. Finds videos quick so it has good processing power.

    Great picture but annoying startup menu

    I love the picture. I hate the annoying startup menu that appears each time you turn on the TV. The only way I found to get rid of it is to do a factory reset (to delete your info for wifi, amazon, netflix, etc.), and then find the power selection for "last input". If I decide I really want to watch Netflix on this TV, I will buy another Roku. If they don't change this "feature", this will be my last Insignia TV.

    I had a great Samsung 24” for my kitchen that I accidentally cracked the screen on. I wanted to get another Samsung but I could not find a 24” anywhere. Their website says they make them but there are none in stores. I went into Best Buy and the only 24” they had was this Insignia. At first it seemed ok, but then I noticed a permanent black dot in the upper left side of the screen. That I could live with. What I cant live with is it will not sync with my fios voice remote control. Now I have to use two remotes which wouldn’t be bad either but when I turn it on I just can’t go to live tv. A square pops up that says HDMI2 that I have to click on to get to live tv. Now all of a sudden the tv just turns on by its self. No my house is not haunted! My poor husband can not even turn it on by himself. I have purchased many tv’s in my day and this is the worse. I didnt take it back because for the $117 it wasn’t worth the hassle. Once I find a Samsung I’ll just donate this one. That may not be doing them a favor though!

    The 24" TV is NOT 100x100mm VESA

    The mounting pattern is 100x200mm which hardly any of the motion mounts will accommodate.

    My TV won't allow me to access Hulu, or HBO Max. Not happy... wish I'd just purchased a regular non-smart TV and gotten a Roku stick
