It is adequate for my needs but in all fairness when your work issued-laptop is average your tv-turned computer monitor will be about the same.

Should have noted that it was 720 P display which is fairly low quality for reading documents or viewing HD TV. The price was fair given the quality, but be sure to manage your expectations.
