I have found over that past TWO+ years that I have owned this that I've had to increase the volume considerably compared to when I first set it up. BUT - in all fairness to Best Buy, Insignia and all y'all - I have developed tinnitus over the years and have {old age} hearing loss creeping on me. This is a great TV for a kitchen or PC room wall hanger!
