What is there not to like?

Great dishwasher!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PRO: Great features for the price. Stainless steel interior and the third utensil rack is just amazing. Con: Drying is not the best, seem to have a lot of water left over even with heated dry. No spot for the prewash detergent, not a big deal but still.

Clean but still wet.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It cleans well but doesn't seem to drain completely. I don't know whether it is the dishwasher or the installation that was done by Best Buy. The end result is that the door of the dishwasher is covered by water when the cycle is complete, even when heated dry is chosen. It doesn't appear to be venting the steam the way the last two dishwashers did.

Great quality/price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a great purchase for my household. It's very good quality—100% stainless steel inside and out. Once running, it’s very quiet and efficient, and the dishes have come out spotless. It would be nice if you included a plug on it other than that I love it

Seems like a good one
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install. 3rd rack very handy for certain things. Cleans the dishes well. Noise is what you'd expect, maybe quieter.

A solid choice
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher packs a lot of bang for your buck. It is quiet, spacious, and gets the job done. I selected this dishwasher after doing some research for a washer that wasn't high priced since it was house warming gift. So far, I have been using it regularly since moving in and haven't had any issues. Like I mentioned, it is very quiet. Also, I may be biased because I haven't lived with a dishwasher in a decade...

Average Features. Disappointing Downgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a similar (or what i thought) Insignia dishwasher at my last house, and have been enjoying it for over 7 years. When I moved, I needed to replace the dishwasher and immediately searched for what Insignia had to offer. Disappointingly, the top end dishwasher that Insignia is offering now, has less features for more money than my previous model. It's also significantly louder. The top controls are clunky with timeout lockout features to prevent you from starting a cycle if you don't shut the door within a few seconds and the unit requires you to turn it on by holding the power button for 3 seconds. All unnecessary complications on your quest for clean dishes. The features that this unit is missing, and the one I have grown to love and miss very much, is a lighted interior. It also doesn't have the air ventilation pump like my old one so the dishwasher has a weird smell when it completes a cycle. This also contributes to plastics that are still wet long after the dry cycle completes (Tupperware lids). Speaking of cycles, its missing a few. There is no "Rinse Only" option to just rinse off some smelly food. There is no steam wash, and the minimum cycle runtime is 90 minutes, 4.5x the "Rinse Only" on my previous unit. Finally, it's missing the vortex wash jet in the back corner that was invaluable for deep cleaning really dirty dishes like blenders, pots, and pans. As far as the noise goes, I can hear it running in my upstairs bedroom with the door open and the kitchen at the bottom of the stairs. The old unit was nearly silent, with only the occasional noise from water lapping against the door. I can hear the pump running on this one for the duration of its cycle. I don't think this is a bad dishwasher by any means, and it rises above the competition at this price point. I think that's why I'm disappointed. The previous unit was an absolute steal, and a bargain for this price. It had way more features than the name brands around the $500 mark. This one has a 3rd rack, and that's about it.

Saving money
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this because our 10 year old dishwashers heating element broke. Wasn't looking to spend $800+ so we picked this unit. It clams to be 49 dbs but the unit rans as quiet as my sons 42 dbs samsung with almost the same features that he spent over 900 on.

Great for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher is very nice, reasonably priced, and easy to use. My only negative to say about this is that it doesn’t dry as well as I would like. But it’s quiet and spacious. The delay start and sanitize features are nice also.

Fantastic
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Dishwasher is Fantastic! After looking at all the brands available, I settled on this one and boy am I glad I did. This Machine has All the features of the top brand Dishwashers, without the price. As for noise, it is Super Quiet, we cannot hear it running from 10 feet away. The Express cycle with Sanitize drying takes 1 hour 50 min. and everything is completely dry.

Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaced a Bosch that broke and we could not find an authorized repair service in the state of CT. This unit compares very favorably. It is very quiet and does the job very well. At the price point it includes a stainless tub and is an extremely good value.

Great dishwasher for the money
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this dishwasher in for 2 months now and am very satisfies with it. It was not hard to install ourselves once we got our old pipes updated. It is the quietest dishwasher I ever had. It does a great job cleaning and the only con I can say, (and it is not a problem) is that I have to leave the door open a bit to let things dry. I would recommend it to anyone for an inexpensive good dishwasher.
