Keeps you from being hot but doesn’t get really cold unless it has help from a couple of fans. I was trying to cool a kids size room- needs a window.

Mine came new in box no damage or anything others have said. The issue I have is it sucks a lot of power so I cant use it if say the central air is on or if I am using a lot of other devices (i work from home) so I have yo unplug a lot of things else it can surge (power fluctuates and even shut off completely then came back on).

Control doesn’t work unless you point it directly at the front of the unit. The “beep” sound you get from pressing the buttons is a little too loud though. Not much of a difference from the high, medium and low settings. Make sure you clean out the vents in the back, it does make an impact on the units performance.

The problem is not with the machine, but with my decision to put it on our ezbreeze porch. There's just not enough insulation in the panels so it takes a very long time to cool down the porch. I probably should have purchased a larger unit - but even that might not have been sufficient in the mid 90's weather we've been having.
