My main issues with this unit: (1) TOO LOUD. Prepare to get used to the noise, it is impossible to talk on the phone/watch tv/sleep while the unit is generating cool air. (2) DISGUSTING SMELL. Made my room smells like wet socks whenever the AC unit is on Cool/auto setting. Don't know if it is toxic. (3) HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I got in contact with Best Buy/Insignia's customer service a month after my purchase regarding the smell, was transferred three times, then the lady asked me to bring the unit back to the store for further evaluation. It is NOT an option to send a technician to my house because I didn't purchase protection plan. I refused to bring it back to the store because the unit was heavy. Guess I will just get used to the horrible (potentially toxic) smell for the rest of the summer. :))
