    We have no AC in our basement, but my son still at home has a bedroom down there and likes it cool. This is my first "portable" unit. It has worked well. It's relatively quiet: we expect some noise of course but the smaller window units that fit our smaller replacement vinyl window frames had a tendency to get VERY loud, and this corrects that. Plus the screen can stay in, and it doesn't deform said plastic windows :)

    I don't know how well the product is since I have not had a chance to use it yet. Customer service on this item was great. I showed up and they loaded it.

    Works great! I needed this for my room as we have the over the head air conditioners in every room except one. Works great and even helps the other AC’s not run as often. I also like the minimal window space it needs to use rather than those in the window ones.
