The unit I have could hardly keep my bedroom below 80 when outside temps reached over 90. I do not recommend this unit. The room I was cooling is maybe 80sqft. Works fine for less intense days.

It behaves erratically when the remote battery is low. It never cools too the actual temperature you set, it will cool a couple degrees above what you set.(my room is 15x12) If you can spend a little more and get a better brand, do it. I could and should have done so.
