There is some coolness if the door is closed and I can’t feel the air flow unless the unit’s vent is open and pointed in the direction of where I want to target the air flow.

I had to return this unit twice to best buy not because it stopped working but because the hose broke and plastic parts of the window kit break easily when trying to disassemble it to clean them. If the plastic parts didnt break easily and it was able to keep the room cool at 90+ degree weather i would definitely gave it 4 or 5 stars. But nope!

This AC is $300 worth of useless garbage and I would give zero star rating if I could. I have owned multiple AC units and this is by far the worst. Firstly, even at its coldest setting (62 degrees F) it is entirely unable to cool a room to below 75 degrees F. It is completely energy inefficient and my electricity bill has never been higher all for my apartment to continue to bake in summer heat. Lastly, and most horrifically, the water condensation collector sensor is broken and gallons of water produced by the unit leaked all over my apartment floor and damaged the neighboring apartment below me. It has been an absolute nightmare and I am still overheating in my apartment. Go spend your money elsewhere.
