Please note this review is from someone whose owned and used the Portable AC for about 2 weeks. Fairly continously when the temperature rises. So far, everything is going great. Even kept it on for one full day and it was fine. The air blows cold and cools down my room (under 200sq ft) fairly quickly. I'm still trying to play with all the modes and with the remote that it comes with. The setup was fairly simple as well. The instructions were easy to understand. Our window was about the right fit so we didnt really need the extra foam that was provided. It is heavy so take precautions when lifting. And it's about the average size of portable ac's I've seen instore. The small thing I would change would be the noise. Most of the time it sounds like a fan at the highest setting.

This portable AC is a bit loud, but honestly, for the price and the cool air it pumps out, it was totally worth it. It kept me comfortable all summer when things got unbearable. If you’re looking for an affordable way to beat the heat, this does the job.

This portable ac is very easy to set up. Quiet operation. Keeps the room cold and at a steady temperature. We have this set up in a medium sized bedroom and it has been working very well. Easy to maintain as well. Would recommend!

Works great. Got my room cold completely. Subtle noise but there is a noise. Not too loud however.

I bought this as an open box product. I was weary about purchasing it because I’ve never bought anything open box and I’ve heard some bad stories with open box products but I decided to give it a try. It was a good price. It’s a bit heavy but I was able to carry it and remove it out the box alone. It works very well and blows cool! The only thing I don’t like is that it shakes a little bit loud. Not annoyingly but enough to feel the floor shake when you’re close to it. I live in an upstairs apartment so I didn’t want it to annoy my neighbors but I haven’t received any complaints so I guess it’s fine. FYI I tried this in my living room and it didn’t help much. This is perfect for a room but not so well in larger areas.

Wow… This thing saved my life. It was the middle of the Summer and it was HOT!!! And on top of that, I had surgery. My daughter had Freon put in my unit, but it went quick because of a large leak. I bought this out of pure instinct of survival lol. But seriously it worked so well! To make it more efficient I closed off my master bedroom off to the rest of the house and lived in the cold. It gets really, really cold. I would recommend for anyone needing an a/c in any area that that you need cold air,

This portable AC works fast and well to cool a small room ! It is a little on the noisy side and I have put it in “sleep” mode with the hopes that it would quiet down, but it does not. Set-up for the window was fairly easy (have vertical window set up) but I was only set 3 “pegs” for sizing of the window and needed 4.

Amazing product! Changed my bedroom from an unbearable oven, to perfectly comfortable oasis. Powerful enough to actually make my room almost TOO cold on a 97° day. Unit is a bit heavy, but it fit nicley in the corner below the window. When it comes to noise, at full blast its a medium loudness.

My friend bought this from Best Buy when it first was available. It's been through several UCF College dorms. Never had a problem. It sat in a air control storage unit for about 4 months and now it's mine. Unfortunately through the trials/ tribulations of different roommates. No Win kit/ remote. I did buy a new remote identical in the images, yet only shows Celsius. Works perfect for my 1933 FL Bungalow. I was fortunate enough previous owners, wall vent n2 original chimney. Ran to Home Depot picked up a few things exhaust goes right into the chimney. Was free for me besides hardware for exhaust.

Bought this for my daughter for her room upstairs. She uses it every night, easy install, and keeps her room cold. Great purchase. It is heavy so make sure you have assistance if you need to transport up steps.

Amazing ac unit, keeps the house cool and easy to install and move around.

Really heavy but super easy to set up, cools down my bedroom and my home office and I can wheel it back and forth. Both of them are very small rooms and the door stays closed. Very effective.

This portable ac unit was very simple to set up. Wether you have a vertical or horizontel window the parts work for either or. When i tell yall this ac unit has my room ice cold in this hot weather. I love it!! The only thing that i dont like about it is that we have to have a bucket for the water and you have to pour it out after a few hours.

Great performance and it cools the room fast. The only downside is it’s a little louder than I would like, but overall it’s still a good product.

Excellent purchase. No buyers remorse whatsoever. Works great and love that it's portable and that it has a remote. I have used it my 12X28 shed and a 14x16 room and it worked equally great in both areas. I'm very happy with it.

Great item. Keeps room cool. Not hard to setup or use.

My wife and I needed to replace the portable air conditioner we used for our bedroom. We purchased this one and so far it is working great. It gets the room cooler faster than our old air conditioner and keeps it cool through the night. It is also a nice-looking unit. It was easy to set up as well. And I like the remote control and the ability to turn off the LED display while sleeping. The only downside is that it is a little loud but to be honest it is quieter than our old portable air conditioner. So in that sense being loud is relative. Overall would recommend it to anyone who needs a portable air conditioner.

It works good in smaller areas. Does not leak very often and low maintenance. Installing and securing window are needs to be secured as goodas possible to assume the best experience in the summer months. The exhaust tube is on the shorter side so it needs to be placed on a lift.

Bought and replacement for my old DeLongie 14000 BTU and this Insignia did beyond my expectation (comparing the btu specs & output performance). Been totally satisfied of this item/model which I replaced for my large living room. It does vary on your living/usage condition and its perfect for the budget. Comes with the perfect amount size of the output heat/exhaust tube size and portable to change from one bedroom to another (3 gaming rig in 1 small room cools it enough or more to feel comfortable with the icky/sticky feeling). Overall, satisfied with the purchase for its price and performance of the model. Please consider and check the sq ft coverage as it can validate and confirm the spec performance of this item. Preferencing my room 12 x 14 x 17 (L x W x H) with 3 gaming rig running at least 10hrs+, it has did its job to cool the pc's and the room.

It's a little loud but we don't care at all because this thing works! Our bedroom is in the attic of our house. It's a semi finished attic so it has no heating and barely any insulation so this attic on a 90 degree day gets HOT. We had a regular window unit before and the room was still warm on its lowest temperature setting. This portable AC actually makes our attic bedroom cold and we've been sleeping like babies since. It's also a nice design and was easy to set up. We love the remote as well since our bedroom is very big and the ac isn't close to the bed.
