I would give more syars but the first one we got kept giving a E4 error message and had to get a replacement after 2 days. If you use it alot make sure to drain it every so often.

This ac unit is okay. It may be good to supplement a central ac system, but is not great on its own. I'm trying to cool a 6x15 room, and this thing struggles to get anywhere near the temp it's set at. It stops working and starts bepping quite often. This is very frustrating. Overall, I recommend finding a different brand.

Works, but leaks water all over the place when it gets too hot. The condensation is not confined to the tank like you'd expect it to be. I left it running with the drain plug open sitting on a pan. Condensation was spilling out the front of the unit as well as the back drain ports. My floors were soaked. I bought two of these and both have this issue. I'll probably donate them, they are not worth a dollar.

This air conditioner was a real disappointment. I purchased it to cool a medium sized 10’ x 10’ bedroom and even set it at the lowest cooling setting (63F) it wouldn’t bring the temp below 73F. I even let it run for 12 hours. Please note that during that time the unit was leaking water onto the floor. Be forewarned that this unit follows a new EPA Government definition of cooling standards. It even says it on the certification label. I ended up returning to the store. If you can find an A/C without the new “greener” EPA standards buy it now! Or buy a unit that is rated at twice the BTU that you need.

Worked pretty good. Also liked the auto on and off feature according to temperature set.

I’ve had this for just a few months and it has begun spitting water into the air. Does not do a good job cooling the space. I have contacted insignia for support so I may update my review but will remain disappointed overall. Also it’s very heavy and requires a lot of window tools so calling it portable is misleading.

Its a great unit but it doesn’t keep my 8x4 room as cool as I would like it too

Good if you have a little room. Not the well if you have a large amount of room cause the air is not strong enough will take a while to cool down

It don't get very cold it keep shutting off like it's over heated so it stay off all day and I turn it on at night

The remote is sometimes unresponsive but it works to cool my small room

I’ve had it for less than 5 months & it already broke down . It was very good at first but little by little it stopped giving cool air.

Do not recommend. Before I purchased it, I chatted with Best Buy rep who LIED to me and told me it had an eco mode. It does not. It is NOT energy efficient. It's SO loud!!!!!!!! Big and bulky. Worst of all, my room still feels HOT! I've had it since May! HORRIBLE.

I bought this for a ~180sqft room to replace my LG portable air conditioner. This was also around 60 dollars cheaper with the same BTU. I had this portable AC for some time and the main issue is the time it takes to cool down a room, it takes forever. I had the 6000btu 250sqft unit.

It cools - just didn't feel that it cooled well. It had to be set very low to cool properly.

This unit was easy to install however it did not cool anywhere near as good as my window unit that is also 6000btu

I’d say this is okay. Not great. When it’s a hot summer, it doesn’t get anywhere near 68-73 temps. It just feels as if it’s blowing hot air. But it will feel better than the 90 degree weather outside so I guess it kind of works. Just isn’t strong enough to keep cool.
