    Doesn’t work as good as I thought it would, doesn’t cool that great. Only if you’re standing or sitting right in front of it. I wouldn’t buy this product. Lesson learned.

    Doesn’t work unless it’s cold out side then you’ll get cold air inside but if it’s hot then don’t expect a cold room. The hotter is it outside the more it has to work so you’ll find yourself emptying the drain multiple times.the lowest it goes is 62 degrees but it doesn’t even feel like it. Returning this product! Better to go with the og window ones and less expensive.

    Barely cools

    Set up was easy. It’s normal AC loud, but it barely cools. Had it on for hours at it’s highest setting and the temp has dropped only a few degrees. I guess my mistake for thinking this $300 piece of junk should work as well as a “real” AC. It’s going to have to go back!

    Works Great Until You NEED it

    This AC unit was PERFECT until the central AC in my house stopped working entirely. You wouldn’t even know the portable AC was on. My bedroom is 100 sqft, this is supposed to cool 250 sqft. It is 82 degrees in my bedroom and the unit has been set to 65 since 11 pm last night. It’s now 11 am, and it has a making NO DIFFERENCE. It is not built for the Louisiana heat and humidity. Extremely disappointed, and I wish I could still return it.

    If I could leave 0 stars I would. DO NOT BUY - Waste of money. Does not keep anything cool. I wish I can return it. Thought it was a 30day return. Missed the 14 day return by 2 days. I purchased before the heat attacked. So when it was 105 this machine was worse than I fan. Reason why it took so long to notice it’s a piece of trash. I wish I could get my money back. Mind you I bought it for a bedroom. And for the life could not keep anything cold.

    Dry Mode Broken?

    Bought this unit in June of 2020, used it for June, July and August of that year. In 2021, I used it for so the months of July and August. Total of 5 months, I am trying to use the "dry" feature for the first time and when I put it on that setting, the unit still blows out cold air out of the top and hot air out of the exhaust. Called customer service and they were unable to help me. I've used dehumidifiers before and this is not how it should function.

      ​Hi,
      Dehumidifier operation principle is different from air conditioner. Though these two categories all use compressor.
      Because of the evaporator and condenser location, air conditioner blows out cold air while the dehumidifier blows out hot air. BBY-ExBrand_Insignia

    Had it on the lowest temp at 62 for about 6 hours and it was barely cold. My room is about 200 sq ft and should have had no problem cooling.

    Unsatisfactory. Has a very powerful fan but it didn’t seem to blow air that was colder than room temp. I used it in a small bedroom and did not feel the temperature change

    Pretty easy to set-up and get going but the problem is it doesn’t cool much I could have a defective unit. But unless I’m right under it doesn’t do much. I’ve never had to turn it off because it’s to cold. The vent is also at an angle where I have to put cardboard in it for it to directly hit me and it produces over 4 gallons of water a day. So I wouldn’t buy it there’s better options at this price.

    This is really crappy. Bottom panel leaks. Very noisy. Stuck with it as its been over two weeks since delivery.

    Bottom tank stopper broken off

    The unit worked great but after I had it all unpacked and plugged in I realized the bottom holding tank stopper had broken off! There was no way to reattach it so it wouldn't just leak. It was really a pain to re-pack it up and take it back. I can't believe a $300+ machine can be ruined by a $5 piece of plastic. What a massive waste and poor design. Best Buy customer service was outstanding!

    If i have the AC constantly going i get the error P1 and i have to drain it every 30 minues. Which is ridiculous.

    Heavy garbage

    Doesnt blow very cold. The 15day return policy is garbage as this is heavy by the time you get it set up and realize it doesnt work as well after a couple of uses its to late to return. Its too heavy to take back to the store and deal with the hassel of a return. Use your money on a product that will actually work.
