    Not good on third floor to bad can’t return it I bought it in desperation because it was way to hot and when I turn it on it was good and it felt like it was getting cooler but it was 90 outside and inside only got to a 83 and the I was trying to figure out why it wasn’t getting cooler because I set it to 63 and the air was only blowing in one direction and no other and the only way to make it blow in the other direction was to put a little fan to push the air in multiple directions I only believe this to work on first and second floors

    Loud, doesn't cool a tiny bedroom, cheap window kit, bulky. Nothing good to say about this unit. I wish I could still return it.

    Not cooling small bedroom

    Looks like I got a clunker:( Set up was easy but it is not cooling. I have it in a 150 sq ft bedroom with the door closed and it is only cooling the room 5 degrees less than the rest of the condo. It was 80 degrees in the living room and 75 in the bedroom...and I had the unit set to 68 degrees. The unit is very big and heavy. I had a great friend help me carry it up 3 flights of stairs. Not looking forward to taking it down 3 flights of stairs.

    Couldn’t keep up w/ heat, leaked & ruined hardwood

    We only used it for one summer season. It struggled to keep our 20x10 bedroom cool. A couple of months of use it started leaking black goo and ended up staining and ruining a good chunk of our 60 year old hardwood floors. Skip this trash junk unit!

    I have purchased several Insignia brand items over the years, and they've all been good. This is TERRIBLE, the WORST! It must be vented out a window, yet the window forms don't fit, and the adhesive you're supposed to use to stick the window things in the window is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. Do not waste your money on this. Zero stars if I could.

    This air conditioner did not work. It did not take the humidity out of the air nor did it make things cold. It was like trying to dehumidify and cool the entire outside coming through the window vent. I would not recommend. And this was even though the portable air conditioner was in a 100 sq ft room not a 250 sq ft room.

    Bought this on clearance and came with no cap! didn’t notice until today and carpet is now saturated in upstairs bedroom!!

    Its works for what it is. But theres no way this is coolong 250sq ft. More like maybe 100sq ft.

    I’ve had this air conditioner for less than a month and it has stopped working. It’s started out shaking loudly and now doesn’t cool at all. I’ve cleaned the filters and checked the settings

    Only drops the temperature in my less than 200 sq ft bedroom by couple degrees when running the cool setting on high. I have used many portable ac units throughout my life and this one is by far the worst one I’ve come across. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $100 and get the Frigidaire instead, it uses less power and can cool a bigger room than this one

    Purchased last April Hardly used last summer Coolant must have leaked out No appliance insurance on it and the Geek Squad does not repair this unit. Told me to call the company Called them got the run around No results Best Buy could care less if they lost me for a customer or made an offer
